this one's about how easy it is to get depressed while chronically ill & disabled, and how i combat it by "looking forward" (😉) to the future and the good things it may have in store for me.

"50%" 18x24in oil and thread (NOT SPAGHETTI) on canvas
this piece is meant to be representative of chronic migraines, symbolized by the thread, and funky lines and textures, and a monochromatic color scheme. the title itself is a reference to the fact that, on average, i have a migraine about 50% of days. really fun stuff right? but it's important to express our frustrations someway, somehow, and my personal favorite method is by using the creative arts. im not a very outwardly expressive person, so art is where i turn to.

I continued to torment the sketch with Varg and Pelle (I'm fucking slow), and my self-portrait somehow drew itself The Bergtatt album by Ulver is on the T-shirt, it has my vibe as much as possible, I love its monotony and the vocals on it
