Turned out good!
I've got 3 sketches freshly out of the oven! I drew @nekorinnie's best birb Evo, @catohphm's sweet guy Fernie and @blackberry-command-cap's hippie smuggler Shae'zena!
Evo was truly amazing to draw, I've always wanted to draw him in his Asizi (original @nekorinnie's species) form and I'm really proud of this drawing! I really like Fernie, I think he's a cutie patootie so I'm really happy how he turned out c:! Also, a hippie smuggler? I just had to draw her lol.
Again, if y'all want to color these sketches feel free to do so just be sure to not alter the original drawing (like tracing, removing the signature, etc.) and to give credit! Also if you want the uncompressed file dm me!
Part. 1 & Part. 2
from the tips of my fingers, the cosmos yawns
each star a hope. suspended in its web
so immense, so small
lost in it glory, yet lost to space
just grant me the strength
to shield just one star
its warmth so distant
it’s an ache that never goes
for there is an emptiness even a soul can’t fill
please just let me be a shield
that defends what I can’t reach
so that others may have a hearth of their own
maybe by faith, I’ll finally feel
the warmth, I never knew
I’m really enjoying this look for Crodek, I plan to refine it the future, but dang he does look good in hoods. Catnan doesn’t need a mask when he’s got this face.
I made a very twisted choice with Crodek yesterday and…it fits him.
Crodek isn’t the happiest about working with Timmns. So when they finally catch the dark lord their after. Crodek refuses to kill her, making Timmns choose between letting her go or killing her. So bloodies his hand and conscience which he feels the weight so much more keenly as a Jedi.
As messed up as this choice is it fits Crodek surprisingly well.
This whole thing was a slight accident on my part since you don’t know what you’re getting with some of the dialogue options in Swtor.
Y'know what screw it I'm here I'm thinking about SWTOR I wanna get out of my shell more SO. Uh. Art? I'm still nervous about sharing but ART! At 2:30am! I'm totally good at this social media thing. 🤣😭
Meet Vega's parents, my smuggler/chaos magnet Reilly Hawkins and the long-suffering extremely loyal Quil Kodral. I have a whooooooole backstory and it's complicated and not entirely fleshed out because I keep changing my mind and the hamster that runs the writing wheel in my brain won't FOCUS ON ONE THING FOR MORE THAN A WEEK C'MON MAN *cough* anyway. Childhood best friends that got separated in their teens, found each other again as adults and realized "hey I think I've actually been in love with you like my whole life", went on a whole crazy adventure together and decided "let's do this together forever". Quil becomes a spy for the Alliance and Reilly uses her status as the Voidhound/Port Nowhere's captain to help Hylo and the Alliance's smuggler fleet. I love them so much. Closeups under cut because Tumblr crunches my art a lot. Imma go sleep now see you in the morning. 🤣😭
If you see any vague resemblance between Quil's design and the Winter Soldier no you didn't and also I swear I didn't do it on purpose. I don't hate it though? Eh.
This is for @reigrace-keyboardjam’s challenge.
All this fics are multifandom writing wips, because itjrir multifadom I did a bit of explaining, so the vision could still seem and enjoyed even if it’s a foreign fandom.
This is a crack fic from the perspective Detective Naomasa who meets the villain Mr Compress at a grocery store. The thing is Naomasa has a super power to detect the truth when people lie. So when he meets suave undercover Compress buying… er stealing for his villain friends, things… get out of hand.
Especially when Naomasa learn that the man is lying about having a daughter, being a police officer Naomasa assumes the worst and trying to arrest. They end up handcuffed together with cuffs that cancel out their superpowers. Naomasa is unable to detect truth while attached to a proven lier. So now they have to work together to get the handcuffs off. Who knows maybe an unlikely friendship will occur.
Know how or idea why I came this story idea but the brain worms won’t go away.
This story is a coming of age story that centers around a young Hot Rod. Who returns to his war ravaged planet Cybertron with the autobots only to get captured by Quintesson invaders, who are capturing both autobot and their enemy decepticons for slave.
Through an accident Hot Rod absorbs the matrix of leadership, this gets noticed by Soundwave takes him and they escape. So Hot Rod finds himself pretending to be leader while he tries to return the matrix to its rightful owner Optimus Prime, which means going back to where they escaped from.
So stuck with a powerful enemy Hot Rod from collects fellow survivors like Pokemon. Which be good thing if he didn’t have to lead them through the bowls of a planet that is very much alive (survival with slight horror). Many of these people also don’t like each other so his work is cut for him.
This fic has two chapters already published. It is also a glorified excuse to write about my favorite, action adventure and describe cool metal planet scenery as well as worldbuild to my heart desire.
(Wind Bound Embers a genshin fanfic)
This one features Detective Heizou who decides to take an unexpected vacation to a foreign nation. Which is really an excuses to investigate a shady or Giza toon known as the Fatui at their hotspot.
However he not the only foreigner investing fatui activities, as the Dark Hero (basically Batman) turns up as well. They get all in each other way over their rivaling investigations and shenanigans ensue.
Bruh writing out my wipes like this made me realize have a thing character development through comedic High-jinks 🤣 I blame you Rei.
(Unnamed Starwar Old Republic Fic)
Would like to write a 5-6 chapter fic where each chapter focus a my Jedi Consolars relationship with each of her class companions.
I plan to write more Swtor stuff in the future when I’ve fleshed out my legacy more. So that I have better sense of how the pieces fit together. So sitting on my hands for now.
Thank you for the challenge!
36% for the oc (or ocs) of your choice!
If you’re oc had to live the rest of their life perpetually angry, sad, or frightened which would they choose?
Answering for Crodek and Tol’Raz
Anger is considered an acceptable Sith emotion but Crodek doesn’t like being angry even though it he is strongest when angry (the force draws on anger). What he doesn’t like about it is the lack of control that comes with it. Crodek wants to direct his own body, thank you very much.
He experienced enough fear in childhood and at Korriban to realize how debilitating it is, so he does’t want that. Which means that Crodek pick sadness. Though this choice is really because of his lack of experience being sad. Poor man thinks this would impact him least.
Strangely enough he’d pick being perpetually afraid. All through growing up til present day his life has been nothing but unpredictable and frightening.
Fear is something he’s had experience with, he can handle always being afraid.
I find comedy to be an interesting way of developing a character, so this question is super delightful. Also the way you describe Zarsha’a humor as subtle has given me the realization that British comedy would perfect for the empire.
51% for Kaayden and one other of your choice.
Literally perfect for Kaaydan and I'll do another one for Zarsh'a, thanks for the ask!
Ask
51%. What kind of comedy does your character prefer? Toilet humor, vulgar, slapstick, morbid, etc.
Kaaydan: Sarcasm, mockery, self-enhancing, occasionally dark humor. Overall, typical smuggler humor lol!
Zarsh'a: Sarcasm and dry humor. Due to her Sith past, she kept a lot of the Empire's mannerisms, so her sense of humor is very subtle. People often don't realize when she's joking and just think she's rude.
Battery percentage ask for Elvira:
95%. If your character was a smell? What would your character smell like?
(😭😭 this is kinda a weird question but I'm curious now-)
If Elvira was a smell she’d be a light barely there floral scent. A bit like rose in how delicate it is, I’m think the smell would from flower that grows in the Jedi temple on Coruscant.
Thank you for asking, I don’t often describe smells so this was fun.
Thoughts about Crodek and Tatooine
Crodek retracing Jaesa’s training arc through the desert gave me some thought which I’ll share. First off Crodek selected Vette as the companion to dragging with him because he thought her treasuring hunting would be well suited to their Padawan tracking expedition. Vette’s Commentary and complaints have seriously made him regret that choice.
The moment where he faced his reflection in the cave was huge story moment for him. Crodek was wearing a good because he looks fantastic with hoods, so his shadow was wearing a hood as well in the cutscene which made things that much more menacing and thematic.
His reflection acoused Crodek of not following the Sith ways and not be dark enough (for reference Crodek is pretty neutral with slightly more light than dark points) Crodek immediately refutes this by saying “I am Dark!”Which he genuinely believes. Crodek completely considers himself Sith and doesn’t see his own actions as contrary to Sith doctrine. This man has been told by so many different people that he is unusual Sith, and he is just like no, I’m an exemplary Sith.
The fact Crodek thinks this why is just so funny to me.
- Tharan will sometimes take the crew out to experience ‘culture’ ie eating at fancy places or going to the museum. Felix is the most receptive to it.
- Zenith puts up with Nadia taging along, and actually is gruff uncle type to her.
- when the consular goes on diplomacy mission Zenith and Nadia are the ones actually interested in politics. Tharan and Felix pay attention but are more there for the good food.
- Felix and Qyzen share a favorite swoop team the Pit Screamers.
-For Felix it’s because the team’s daring stunts appeal to the part of him that wants to be a hero. Qyzen just likes how the Pit Screamers overcome danger and totally not because their team captain is also trandoshan.
- Tharan and Holiday like the Blatant Beks because spectacle.
- Qyzen respects Zenith, and Felix as capable warriors, and Nadia the Heralds student. Tharan is tolerated because his importance as the caretaker of the Herald’s ship and special understanding old metal things.
- Nadia has surprisingly found Qyzen to be helpful teacher about force things because of his deep spirituality.
- Holiday is the second person (first is consular) Nadia goes to when she needs somebody to talk to.
- Tharan is the one who teaches Zenith to dance as well as the other formalities that one needs to know for the social gathering that enviably await the politically involved. Zenith hates it.
- Felix and Nadia are probably the most interactive with Holiday, talking to her likes real. Zenith sees her something like tool. Qyzen doesn’t really know what make of her, he does take her for granted, the way you take the floor for granted for just existing.
- Tharan favorite people to take places besides Holiday are the consular, Nadia, and Felix.
- Felix a pretty good friendship with all the other members of the crew.
The imperial safety commission (ISC) would like to remind the general public that not all behaviors exhibited by Sith should be subject to emulation.
Speeder jousting as demonstrated by apprentice Crodek Ger’nok is, experts say, exceedingly dangerous.
When questioned about his reckless behavior the sith-to-be stated that ‘A warrior should always have his weapon ready”. There is some truth to this statement, just as there truth in the very real danger posed by fully ignited lightsaber while speeder riding.
The ISC highly recommends that lightsaber stay unignited while driving. Blaster safety should be engaged and blades sheathed. With your continued survival at heart, good day.
Titles: Sith Lord,
Home Planet: Dromund Kaas
Age: ?
Backstory: His father Ragnarr was a Jedi knight before falling in love another Cathar, the lovely Nenasu. So Ragnarr renounced the Jedi and followed his passions to the dark side. Although he went on to become full Sith, Ragnarr’s Jedi ideals of duty, temperance, and community are still with him. Especially so in his family life as the father of a litter of five boys.
Fighting Style: Vengeance Juggernaut/?
Crodek favors the simplicity of single lightsaber as it allows him to focus on more what he can improve on while fighting.
Crodek is unsurprisingly for a Sith an adept user of form VII: Juyo. The sheer aggression that juyo expresses is powerful, but precisely directed and it can be stronger still. This is what Crodek’s measured light saber assault exemplifies.
He is despite his considerable bulk, Crodek is incredibly fast, leaping, and dashing around constantly. He has the reflex’s and senses of a cathar with the force pumping it all up to hundred.

About: Reserved and distant Elvira often acts as an anchor in times of hardship. She has a nack for gently telling the people want they need to hear, even if they don’t want to hear it.
Driven by insatiable need to know, and an aching sense of hope she follows the force with her ship the Visionary’s Resolve. Her journey has deepened her belief and understanding of the Jedi code. Though there are times when falls short of her own ideals, this is always something she struggles against.
Backstory: Elvira’s mother worked as a high end escort for Alderaan nobles and caught feelings for client from house Alde. Elvira was the result of this union though her mother elected not to tell the father or anybody else about Elvira. As she didn’t want to risk her child being taken away from her.
The first 6 years of Elvira’s life was with her mother. Where she learned manners and how to act professionally, as well as how to look nice. Then the Jedi order found her.
Because she was taken in a letter age she was always older than peers. This causes her to take on a mantle of maturity at a young age. She has a very strong connection to the force that makes her feel too connected to everything which leads to being overwhelmed. Elvira has a distinctly distant presence as if viewing events from afar as method of coping.
Fighting Style: Infiltration Shadow/?
She’s an infiltration shadow fighting the same way she negotiates by slightly nudging things in the direction she what them to go. Combat isn’t something that she rushes into but when she is fighting Elvira will give herself every possible advantage.
Her lightsaber form of choice is Niman, because of its versatility. Which for diplomat who never knows when a negotiation will go south is a must. It also the form that mixes the force with blade work best and provides more space for creativity. This some that Elvira values and the force heavily guides in combat so this style is very much an expression of that.
Elvira’s particular brand of Niman borrows some inspiration from Makashi. Not because she is skilled with form but because she hold an option that is most elegant of all the forms. This influence makes much better at one on one combat so much of her force work mid combat is forcing the enemy to face one at a time where she strongest.

💭 💜🩹 for the swtor OC of your choice!
Thanks for the ask!
^Very rough sketches of my OCs to give you something to imagine
💭 THOUGHT BALLOON — what is your oc's MBTI, enneagram, and/or other personality aspects (if known/interested in)?
I’m actually going to answer this for several swtor OCs- you know how I love 16 Personalities!
Aresyl (Sith Inquisitor) is an INTP-A: She’s very preserved and quietly inquisitive, always questioning both the galaxy around her and the abstract nature of it. In true INTP nature, she seems totally detached from the present, lost in her own head. She's also very spontaneous and doesn’t believe there’s much of a point in planning when her reality and goals are constantly shifting. However, being assertive (-A), Aresyl feels confident in her ability to navigate her adventurous mind and find the solutions she needs to.
Katynn (Imperial Agent) is an ISTP-T: She’s always restless to explore the galaxy and get her hands on new experiences. Katynn’s fiercely observant (S) and thinking (T), making her perfect for her imperial agent role. She’s able to examine the world around her and decode it with decisiveness. Katynn’s introverted (I) and turbulent (-T) nature manifest in her loner mentality- always straying from the norm either because she doesn’t care for rules or because she’s afraid of growing close to others.
Alykaa (Sith Warrior) is an ISTJ-T: she’s a firm proponent of tradition and upholding order. ISTJ’s easily accept the standards of their society, which is not a problem with a moral upbringing, but this just lead Alykaa on a path to becoming the ruthless and unforgiving Emperor's Wrath.
Hrafen (Sith Warrior) is an ENTP-A: he’s at constant debate with others (and sometimes himself, although not as much as Aresyl) but is unable to take any argument seriously. Although his constant questioning of others often seems brash, it comes from a place of deep unseriousness on his part since he sees all viewpoints as temporary. Being a constant contrarian, he could never trust any society to be worthy of conforming to, although he understands his deep need for community.
Kai (Smuggler) is an ESTP-A: He’s always looking for a new reckless adventure to share with good company. He has a kind of reckless, self-assured nature that could bring him to the top as fast as it could ruin him. Despite this, he remains purely rational and never lets person feelings get in the way of making the right decision.
Aura’dann (Jedi Counselor) is an ESTJ-T: Similarly to Alykaa, Aura’dann is a strong upholder of order and values. Aura’dann and Alykaa are kind of two sides of the same coin, but instead of growing up to be a ruthless sith, Aura’dann is a stark defendant of the republic. However, Aura’dann does not follow the Jedi blindly and instead follows the teachings of the Echani people she grew up with. She was never able to accept the Jedi’s strict rules and opted to keep to the rules she had already lived by. Aura’dann takes it upon herself to be a good example among the Jedi and to the republic with brutal honesty.
💜 PURPLE HEART — what is your oc's ancestry/genetic background?
I kind of talked about this already, but Aura’dann is Echani and grew up in a strong familial community until she joined the Jedi Order at 17. She felt the need to escape her home since she had a quarrelsome relationship with her family (Aura’dann has very strong opinions, which proved difficult when it came to making family compromises). Luckily, she has so much love for them that Aura’dann was able to keep in touch.
Alykaa is part of a strong bloodline of sith and her family is a defining aspect of her personhood. Her mother wasn’t present in her youth, but he father hammered in high expectations early in Alykaa’s life. She always felt the need to do her family proud and being a shining example among the sith order.
Hrafen, being a literal sith pureblood, obviously also has a strong family connection to the sith, yet is less bothered by it. In part due to his skeptical nature, he never felt the need to be chained to expectations. He doesn’t have much to do with his family- they weren’t a particularly nurturing bunch anyways.
🩹 ADHESIVE BANDAGE — does your oc have any physical and/or mental disabilities?
(I’m going to include mental illnesses/disorders here)
Katynn nearly lost her hearing completely on a mission early on in her career which involved a partner being reckless with explosives. Fortunately, Katynn was later able to pretty much restore her hearing to normal with the use of her cybernetic implants. Katynn also has borderline personality disorder (BPD), which includes having unstable moods, behaviors, and relationships. She has a lot of difficulty letting people in because of this.
Aresyl has inattentive ADHD, further contributing to her detached presence. Aresyl’s history as a slave is reflected in her struggles with PTSD and depression.
Aura’dann has chronic migraines, mostly because I have chronic migraines and need at least one character that can bear my pain with me.
For Tol'Raz: 🍝🤩😥
Tol’Raz’s favorite food would be space fast food. He’ll like food that makes him nostalgic such as any thing from Mek’sha or the wierd hodgepodge soup spacers put together out of their remaining rations.
He is definitely spontaneous throwing himself constantly into situations where he has to ride by the seat of is pants. For a more serious mission like sneaking into an enemy base he might memorize key some bullet points.
As his crew grows bigger he’ll learn some more organizational skills to be a good captain. But he’ll always be that guy that needs someone else to do most of the planning.
The thing Tol’Raz gets most stressed about is living up to his own expectations. He wants so badly to be the best Captain that he’d stress out about the little things that he’s afraid he isn’t doing well enough.
The other thing that would wig him out big time it big time would be meet someone idealizes. This really true if he has to work with them, he wants so badly to succeed, especially in front of them.
Tol’Raz wants to the guy that people can rely on. However his inexperience means that he has to suffer through doing the things that matter to him badly, until he gets better at.
To Vette, Crodek is very off putting, because he he values her and treats her with more dignity then she’s accustomed too. While still being very much a Sith and dangerous killing machine. Sure Crodek is decent enough to her but he hasn’t truly freed her.
This man bargained with Vette for her freedom and did give it to her. Only when on his ship where it’s assured that she has no where else to go.
Crodek very much considers Vette his property, so in his mind he wants to grow her as much as possible. This gives him a vested interest in her well being. Which was part of the reason he removed the slave collar with the other reason being a demonstration how he keeps his word.
Vette understandably feels stifled by this behavior. So she holds her ground by using jokes and commentary to point out the holes in his logic. This aggressive sort of verbal grappling does actually end developing both of them into more competent and sure individuals.
This dynamic of those will continue to unfold and perhaps Crodek may grow enough to fully give Vette her freedom. At the moment it seems unlikely that Crodek will romance Vette as they’re busy enough as frenemies.
What this new smuggler has is a bravery that stem from not knowing the full situation. He’ll be the first to charge into the fray only to realize he’s in over his head. Honestly it’s almost a miracle that he’s lived as long as he has.
He grew up as street urchin in Mek’sha before making his way to space. This boy raised himself and because of this he is loudly confident in his own abilities. Hopefully he’ll mature as goes through the story. Because he is pretty cocky at the moment.
A fun detail about him is that he loves speeders. This man is the space hot car guy, with his current pride and joy being his firewasp.
For the oc asks: not-so-nice edition : alone for the swtor OC of your choice!
I’ll answer this one for my sith warrior Crodek. When he is alone he tends be pretty still. Doing things like reading, meditating, and just sitting down to watch nature. He likes being by himself.
He grew up with four brothers and his parents so his first (and so far only) time really experiencing loneliness was Korriban. Where he was the special acolyte who got a free pass there this caused him to be a target of other acolyte. Which gave him a lot of anger that he funneled into determination to out preform them.
If he was lonely for long period of time. Crodek would blame himself for ending up situation to begin with. While at the same time he’d contumely rationalize whys and how’s of his loneliness. He’d sort of mentally tear into himself to the point where whittles down his pride enough to go out and get help.
Thank you for the question.
just out of curiosity... how would Elvira respond if someone that she had locked up managed to escape and caused a lot of damage/killed a lot of people? Would that shake her belief at all that people should always be given a chance to reform, or would she stand by it? What if said person killed or hurt someone she cares about?
In the case of someone she imprisoned escaping and causing harm. Elvira would try to personally stop them or right the situation. How she does this depends on time, if the threat needs to stopped quickly and efficiently then she’s likely to end their life.
If she has more time she would try to make the best of the situation in a more tailored manor. Offering path way that is specific the escaped individual needs and the needs local populace.
It might take her while emotionally come to grinds with her role in the event, depending on what happens.
side note
At the beginning of the jedi consular story Elvira started out firmly believing in second chances. Now at the end of the class story she a bit more jaded, her ideal to preserve life and encourage growth is still the same. She just now knows that that best she can do doesn’t always meet this ideal.
Thank you for both of your questions it gave me some good stuff to chew through.
OC ask - pain for Elvira!
On Corellia there where two Jedi who were friends. One of them was possessed by the first son and was out harming people, so Elvira killed him. But the pain she felt from her fellow Jedi when she’s told him she’d just killed his friend, left it’s mark.
She had just taken the life of someone who had spent his life defending people except the one day he didn’t, because the First Son took control of him and used him in way that undermined this Jedi’s entire life.
Elvira killed the people that were in the First Son’s control because it was the most direct way to stop the destruction they were causing. But this death was what really hammered home that these were people not puppets.
It took seeing the pain of a young Jedi who’d lost his friends but was struggling reconcile how one day a person could behave so completely differently. Someone who’d not only lost the life of a person they loved but was now struggling to sort out what was his friend and what wasn’t. To really grasp that weight of understanding.
This realization also ment that all the previous children of emperor that she’d killed had been people too until they woke up as a possessed Sith. This is why she fought to save master Syo to try and prevent more harm. But free a person from the First Son possession doesn’t free them from what they did when they were possessed. She saw this with master Syo. So she’s Elvira mender of the rift, that be completely mended.
This isn’t the sharpest pain she felt but it is one that endures.
Here’s a squiggle of my Jedi Consular while I ramble.
The subject of today’s ramble has to do with the captured enemies that the consular either get handed over to the republic and or to the Jedi counsel.
Elvira does not spare these people out of a sense mercy, she spared them out a sense of justice.
She spares the life of her enemies and turns them into custody where they have all the tools they need to change their own lives if they so choose. The difficulty of reform is that it takes work. They have to put in the effort to use those tools and if they have no desire to change they’re stuck as a prisoner essentially. A prisoner of their own choices really.
To be clear these prisoners are treated well, but from Elvira grim understanding all you can do, is extend a hand and hope the other person extends theirs too. Sometime people don’t reach out their own even if she wanted it otherwise.
So someone on reddit posted the link for the extremely hard-to-find SWTOR Encyclopedia - which I recommend checking out because the quality of these screenshots came out really bad for some reason.
There’s a lot of super interesting stuff there, but the companion pages I found particularly striking. They contain a lot of info that is never given in-game, so I thought they were worth sharing!
I search for these often. So it might be helpful to have them in a single document. I don’t know if it is stated somewhere, but I myself interpret the ages as those the companions have when you first meet them.
These are the ages as stated by the SWTOR Encyclopedia:
Trooper Aric Jorgan 30 Elara Dorne 26 Tanno Vik 34 (enlistment records suspected of falsification) Yuun 28 M1-4X -
Jedi Knight Fideltin Rusk 40 Lord Scourge 300+ Kira Carsen 20 Doc 28 T7-01 200+ years in service
Jedi Consular Felix Iresso 31 Nadia Grell 22 Zenith 36 Tharan Cedrax 29 Qyzen Fess unknown (claims to be middle-aged)
Imperial Agent Vector Hyllus 26 Scorpio age of programming unknown, current chassis < 5 Raina Temple 24 Kaliyo Djannis 29 (unconfirmed) Eckard Lokin 65 (unconfirmed)
Sith Warrior Pierce 29 Jaesa Willsaam 21 Broonmark unknown Malavai Quinn 37 Vette 21
Sith Inquisitor Khem Val 2000+ Andronikos Revel 35 (unconfirmed) Ashara Zavros 20 Talos Drellik 27 Xalek 24
Smuggler Akaavi Spar 28 Bowdaar 197 Corso Riggs 22 Risha 21 Languss “Guss” Tuno 33
Bounty Hunter Blizz indeterminate Skadge 37 Gault Rennow 54 Torian Cadera 18 Mako 19
Yeah this, I feel like a lot the of the Jedi are boring and suffocatingly dogmatic complains come from not really understanding this idea.
I think the most frustrating/disheartening misconception I often see about Star Wars, and the Jedi specifically, is the misguided notion that love and attachment are one and the same. Which in turn leads to fundamental misunderstandings of who the Jedi are and what their teachings on non-attachment mean. While you absolutely can be attached to those you love, you do not need attachment to have love for someone. That's as true in Star Wars as it is in real life. The reason that Jedi teach non-attachment is because attachment leads to suffering, and suffering is a path to the Dark Side. This, like many other facets of Jedi philosophy, takes inspiration from Buddhism. Buddhism teaches non-attachment for the same reason: to mitigate or eliminate suffering, which is caused by greed, delusion, and/or aversion. This does not mean that the Jedi are forbidden from loving others. They are forbidden from developing attachments to others, which is why the Order, by the time of the Clone Wars, has outright banned romantic relationships. It's hard to be in a romantic relationship without attachment. But Jedi can love, and do. We see beautiful friendships throughout Star Wars. Parental-like relationships between Master and Padawan. Sibling-like relationships between Master and Padawan. Outside of the Clone Wars era, especially in the High Republic, we often see the Jedi in acts of loving service. Obviously, what that looks like varies from individual to individual, but that loving compassion for all living things is absolutely instrumental to being a Jedi.
Finished JC’s class story with Elvira. It’s definitely made her more Jaded. Her feelings on the dark side much more defined after dealing with the First Son.
Dealing the possession that is the Empire Child was especially upsetting as she did kill all these people were totally not in their right mind. They lived for lives until being possessed, by helping others only for the First Sun hide that away to turn them into his own personal pawn. The realization that she killed people whose actions weren’t truly there is just haunting.
Yet it was the most decisive way to stop more from being hurt. She was only able to save master Syo. Who will forever be trailed by the wake of destruction he caused when he wasn’t himself.
She did literally everything she could to make the best of tragedy.
He is my first Sith. Right now what I know is that his fatal flaw is pride, he is as proud as he because he is capable. Very capable.
Crodek has the rage and passion of sith but he is also quite measured. He just flunked Temel’s prisoner test completely which has dented his acolyte’s reckless confidence somewhat. This ‘failure’ has taught him some strategy at least regards to what sith prioritize.
He doesn’t care for some of the finer points of sith trickery. He believes his sheer skill will compensate for this lack.
