Okay Then, When Do You Think That Bart Would Have His Large Growth Spurt In His Teens?

As the winter solstice approaches, I remind myself: Light will always follow dark, dark will always follow light. It is the way of life to find hardship and happiness, happiness and hardship. Okay but look, I think Bart might have DID (Dissociative identity Disorder) and here’s why:

Bart obviously has a lot of trauma, a lot more than a normal teenager should, even for superheroes, and it isn’t a competition, but a lot more than all his teammates (Tim, Kon, Cassie, etc.). He hides everything about him being upset about his past and trauma behind his fun persona that he named “impulse”. He may not have made the hero name but he made its personality.

There are a lot of moments where it’s him being super positive about a really negative situation, and we know he knows it. He realises it’s a delicate situation but he still smiles. I think he has a personality that physically doesn’t let him think badly about a situation that was created by his PTSD. GuyS

It’s funny, the way I imagine JayBart working. They aren’t one of those cute couples/friendships who get each other gifts and shower with affection. No, they call each other assholes and get into arguments about seemingly nothing, they find pleasure in each others discomfort and even more so if they are the ones to cause it. They fight over the remote and kick each other off the couch, chase each other around when the other goes to far with the playful taunts. Point out each others weaknesses but know when to call it quits. They aren’t cute or fluffy or something to coo at, they’re so much better than that. They’re just two people with asshole/sarcastic personalities that trust each other and will most likely wrestle on the living room floor in their form or affection.
