I’m trying to queer up my parents’ favorite shows so I can be annoying but here’s a few I’m having trouble with send help:
1) NCIS (all I can think of is Abby and Kate but I need more)
2) Bones (this show is painfully heterosexual and also one of my favorites pls enlighten me)
3) Madame Secretary (yes there is a bi character I think but I’m talking about making two prominent characters have homosexual horny fag sex)
4) Dexter (I want to piss off my dad)
5) Royal Pains (my mom has rewatched this show like 6 times and I still don’t know what is going on or who anyone is)

Love when media will give a character a job that people usually structure entire shows/movies around (firefighter, doctor, lawyer, etc) but it is just so unessential to the plot and rarely brought up and is just a throwaway piece of info

Sometimes in fanfic I find myself writing ships into the fic that I don’t agree with just bc it makes the plot juicier
Like I’ve never shipped Foreman and Chase but for my post series finale fic I’m working on where Foreman and Chase go find House and Wilson 5 years after the series finale— adding ForemanxChase to the plot to make them a foil to early Hilson (which House and Wilson recognize) makes the plot so much better

Big writers block tip I learned that can be helpful but also super dangerous:
Write the scenes in whatever damn order you want and then eventually you’ll be done (or alternatively you’ll end up avoiding the One Scene that’s bothering you bc you already wrote everything else you wanted to write)
