The first person that came to mind was most likely a man. Because we did not give women the same skills and education they needed to grow and thrive, and live up to their potential. And when they were geniuses anyway, their accomplishments were overshadowed by a man. Maria Anna Mozart? Émilie du Châtelet? We don't hear their names. There's many more we don't even know the identity of. Gifted people with wonderful talents, overshadowed, lost to history. All because they had the misfortune of being born a woman.
