The Emily's (Our Version)

Henry Emily, 35, was born on the outskirts of Hurricane, Utah, to a working-class family. The youngest of two, Henry became interested in mechanics while working at his father's shop. Henry eventually got into Brown University, majoring in mechanical engineering, and meeting his best friend William Afton. Eventually, he met Helena Emily, maiden name Helena Stillwater, and the two dated for several years before making the decision to get married. They gave birth to twins, Charlotte and Samuel Emily, in 1978. Although many people in Hurricane find Henry strange and difficult to get along with, as he is not religious, not at all concerned with traditional gender roles, and is quite socially awkward, Henry is a good person. He's a great father and a good husband; he's just a bit rough around the edges.

Henry has autism. Henry's father owned an antique shop and he gained an interest in mechanics while watching and helping his father fix up old clocks. His parents are dead. Eye color! (made by Purple)

Helena Emily, 35, was born to a working-class family in West Virginia. She didn't attend college, opting to work alongside her father and gain experience in construction work. Although Helena is consistently met with skepticism and misogyny in her field of work, she's stubborn as all hell. While doing construction work in Rhode Island she met Henry and the two began dating, although it took some time as Henry wasn't getting the obvious hints Helena was putting out. Helena and Cora became fast friends after meeting, although the two may not share much in common, they do enjoy one another's company. Helena is a protective mother and is known to have a temper. She isn't willing to hide her emotions for the sake of others' comfort.

William doesn't like Helena much. Good. I wanted Helena's hair to look like a lion's mane. Eye color! (made by Purple)

Samuel Emily (left), 4, is the youngest Emily child. He's not fierce or stubborn like his older sister and takes more after his dad. He gets picked on often, not only because he's timid and shy but also because he doesn't conform to his assigned gender at birth. But his family is there for him, at least, most of the time.

Charlotte Emily (right), 4, is the firstborn child of Helena and Henry Emily by about 10 or so minutes. Still, she easily fits into her role as the eldest sibling and seems to think it's her duty to protect her younger brother Sammy. She's a fierce little girl who has definitely inherited her mother's temper and stubborn nature (and her dads' autism).

I like to think that at first he is trying to clear his name but as he starts to fall more and more in love with alec he just starts to consider the idea of ​​being claire for the rest of his life, i also think that malcolm is the one who is looking for his father, while trying to prove his innocence (although malcom is saner in this au so he became a profiler because he wanted to be like his father, the problem is that the more he investigates, the more things are revealed about his father between they the papers that officially diagnose martin whitly with an antisocial personality disorder with narcissistic tendencies so malcolm is no longer so sure if his father is innocent) on the other hand alec and ellie discover who claire montgomery really is and must debate whether to turn him in the police or believe him to be innocent and help him clear his name (martin ends up revealing the whole truth to them, only for alec not to let him)

I am also loving the drama with Malcolm still, his doubts and worries over his father and if he really is a good man or not.

so my mother always tends to have new ideas for au's which is sometimes a bit annoying because I can't work in one au without having an idea for another, but coming to the point, what do you think about this idea? basically it would be some kind of roleswap but with martin whitly and harry watling just imagine this harry is the serial killer who has 23 victims to his name, martin on the other hand just blamed himself for edincott's death which was actually caused by Ainsley, so we have this murderous vicar and we have this surgeon who has never actually killed anyone but has dedicated himself to saving people.

Don't worry, I totally understand, I am... constantly making up new ideas, which makes it so hard to focus on anything involving my previous ones haha.

Hmmmm, so a while ago I saw a post where someone commented on how it's possible that they events we saw in the show of Harry were all told from his perspective, trying to make himself seem like such an innocent person in order to, ya know, not be guilty for kidnapping and all that, while he's talking to the one guy on death row.

This has me thinking that maybe he does this here too, pretends he never did those murders, they have the wrong person or he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, he never did what he did. Come on, he's a vicar, well respected and loved by his community, how could he have ever done such horrible killings?

And Martin, hoo boy, taking the blame like Malcolm did, that would play so heavily on his mind. A constant reminder that there is blood on his hands, even if he didn't actually hold the weapon.

Fascinating... I rather like this, it has potential!

I can't help but think that in an alternate universe, if Martin Whitly had committed the murders when he was at university and had been caught, the news would probably have nicknamed him the angel of death, (like Robledo Puch, a famous Argentine serial killer, there is literally an interview where a lady believes that I could not have done anything so bad because according to her the boy has an angelic face) also michael sheen as a young man really seems quite angelic

I feel like I know who that person is, but there are quite an odd number of angels of deaths. Though that is more reserved for doctors who kill at work, so I don't... know if the Surgeon counts as one??? But if he had committed them when he was still in med school, that would make for an interesting situation!

Whenever Micheal got in trouble at school, it wasn’t JUST his mom and dad.. Uncle Henry was there too. Uncle Henry was probably the scariest one one the fucking room because “did the kid have it coming? Micheal William Afton why did you throw the first punch?” Because raising Micheal once he hit like 14 was a three person job

Greylock being King

In the episode Baileywhoops , Greylock is seen as a prankster , someone who thinks his magic is more fun than Cedric’s and enjoys getting the spotlight.

So when Day of the sorcerer’s aired , I’d say most people were a little surprised to see Greylock as someone who wanted to take over his kingdom.  

Throughout the series we get a pretty good idea on why Cedric wants to be King but we don’t get much in sight as to why Greylock would have had the same ambition as I don’t think anyone really thought from watching the episode “Baileywhoops” that taking over the kingdom was Greylock’s dream.

When we see Greylock in the order of the wand , we just had to go along with it and presume that it must be something to do with King Magnus. Now I do think that this is the case, but I can understand why some people might be a tad confused by this due to King Magnus giving him so much praise whereas with Cedric it’s a completely different story compared to his relationship with king Roland.

So what was it about King Magnus that made Greylock want to take over his kingdom. I came up with three ideas that might be why but i don’t really know.  

Reason one

Well for starters, I think one of the reasons is because when Magnus brags about Greylock , his not really praising him but is instead praising himself for having a sorcerer better than everyone else.

King Magnus is a character who is known to brag. In the episode Cedric’s apprentice , Roland tells Cedric that Magnus is always bragging about how great his kingdom is.

“We have a very special visitor coming to stay with us , King Magnus. His always bragging about how great his kingdom is.” – Roland 

When King Magnus visits he starts bragging about his chef , jester and royal sorcerer, but his not doing this to make them look good but to make himself look good, just so he can brag about how much better he has it than King Roland.

“Hahahahaha , Oh you should have been there Roland. Our Royal chef made the finest food I have ever tasted.”

“And my jester’s were so funny. The guests couldn’t stop laughing hahaha.”

“And our royal sorcerer Greylock , put on the most incredible display of magic I’ve ever seen.” 

And later in the episode when Cedric successfully makes a rabbit ( Clover ) appear , he takes this opportunity to brag about how much better his royal sorcerer is by mentioning how Greylock can make a entire zoo appear.

“You know my sorcerer made an entire zoo appear once”

The only time I think Magnus has actually praised Greylock properly was in Baileywhoops but it was only after Miranda had told the children that Greylock had offered to entertain them with his feet’s of magic that he bragged about him - “Prepare to be astounded be the greatest sorcerer , who ever waved a wand”.

Now he could have actually been praising Greylock here but his choice of words were quite interesting . According to Cedric in the episode Cedric’s apprentice , Goodwin the great was also known for being the greatest sorcerer who ever waved a wand .“You haven’t heard of Goodwin the Great. The greatest sorcerer who ever waved a wand.”- Cedric

Straight after Magnus states this about Greylock , Cedric feels the need to tell Greylock that he is just as great as he is.

Magnus also brags about his steward Slickwell but like Greylock , I think it’s to make himself look better compared to Roland such as during the Royal Croquet match against Roland and after Slickwell offers to step in for Baileywick.

“Masterful shot your Majesty” – Slickwell

“You chose the perfect  mallet for me Slickwell , as always” – Magnus

“Thank you your highness” – Slickwell 

“if it helps, I would be happy to fill in for the rest of the jubilee , i-i-if it’s all right with my King”- Slickwell

“Why I think it’s a fantastic idea. Then King Roland can see what great service is all about.” – Magnus

So If Magnus does praise them both just to make himself look better , then Magnus is only using Greylock and Slickwell to benefit his own agenda of making his kingdom look better than everyone else.

To Greylock , he may feel pretty used by this and that his accomplishments are only there to make Magnus look better and not for himself.  I don’t think Greylock would appreciate this as his someone who didn’t even like the spotlight being taken away from him or having to share the glory with someone else.

I mean just look at Greylock’s reaction when Cedric wants to share credit for the carousel ride.

“Now remember to tell your Royal parents who conjured this fun ride for you , Greylock the Grand !” – Greylock 

“You don’t think I’m going to let you get all the glory do you” - Cedric

But to be fair they were competing with one another and trying to prove who was the more fun.

Reason two

Another reason could be because Magnus doesn’t give Greylock enough freedom to do what he wants with his own magic.

In day of the sorcerer’s , the first thing Grimtrix asks the other sorcerer’s is if they are tired of royals telling them what to do.

“Friends, wizards and sorcerers I ask you. Aren’t you tried of useless Royals always telling us what to do”- Grimtrix

Greylock then nods to the other sorcerer’s in agreement showing that he doesn’t like being told what to do by Royalty. Probably by King Magnus the most.

Grimtrix then asks - “How many times have we been forced to use our magic to entertain at silly banquets?” to which Greylock looks a tad annoyed about.

Keeping these two points in mind and the fact that Magnus likes to brag to make his kingdom look better to everyone else, it could be that Magnus shows Greylock off a lot at his social events/banquets and makes him do magic that will only make the kingdom look better.  Greylock on the other hand might want to do magic that is seen as more silly and fun but does what Magnus wants because his the King.

If this is true then it would explain why he personally volunteered to entertain the children in Baileywhoops as It was probably a chance for him to lighten up and have a bit of fun for once. It also might add more reason to why Greylock couldn’t resist trying out his new palm zapper on Cedric as Cedric is always someone he can always do pranks on. 

Reason three

And now for my final reason. Because King Magus likes to brag so much ,  he probably has high expectations of his staff to be better than everyone else , making them feel more pressured to meet his standards so they don’t displease him.

In Cedric’s apprentice when Cedric started messing up his flying spell , Magnus looked quite annoyed and spoke to Roland in a harsh tone when Cedric didn’t perform his spell correctly– “ That doesn’t look like a flying rabbit to me , King Roland”. To me this hints at him getting easily annoyed if his standards aren’t met but that’s just my personal opinion.

In Balieywhoops , Slickwell stutters a bit when asking Magnus if it would be alright if he stepped in for Baileywick. This might be because he might have been anxious about Magnus approving or not as he didn’t want him to get annoyed by his request.

Later When Slickwell does step in for Baileywick , he tells everyone that their not slacking off when Slickwell is in charge. At first he just seems like a bad version of Baileywick , but because his been under King Magnus’s management , it makes you wonder if slacking off would be something he wouldn’t be willing to do due to Magnus’s high standards.

So I would say , because Magnus’s staff have such high expectations to meet they probably don’t want to risk messing anything up in case of how they might make their King feel. For Greylock , he probably feels like he can’t mess up or joke around with his magic with out displeasing Magnus so he has to be more serious when performing. If this is the case, then Greylock might have sympathised with Slickwell for wanting to be Roland’s steward instead.  

I mean , when you look at Greylock’s expression after seeing Slickwell get fired , he looks kinda sad by the situation.

He even goes to cheek if Slickwell is okay after he trips over :)

So those are just my three reasons as to why i think Greylock might have wanted to dethrone Magnus and be King instead. It would be great if we could see Greylock again or if Craig could go into more detail about why Greylock joined the order or the wand but I guess we can only theorize :) 

Sometimes I wonder what path Cedric would've taken if he had a real choice

Hi there. I saw your Vigilante Esteban AU. I really loved it. Though, it does make me wonder. Have you thought about making a summary about how Elena reacting to El Gato’s heroism after she overthrew Shuriki? Honestly, I think I can see her throwing a party in El Gato’s honor. Also, I read your fanfic ‘A Cursed Tail’ where Esteban got turned into a cat and I looked up El Gato on Google and turns out it’s Spanish for The Cat. Do you have a thing with associating Esteban with cats?

I haven’t thought about making a second post. It’s possible I will in the future or even try my hand at a drabble series of that AU. I think my idea for post-Elena’s return was that she’d learn about El Gato and team up with him when facing certain foes. She’d definitely do something to thank him. Esteban wouldn’t have admitted to that identity because of his guilt over being responsible for Shurki in the first place, so the reveal of his role in Shuriki’s invasion would be extra complicated. However, the fallout there would be less messy since he’d just become El Gato full time and not be involved with more villains. The second reveal would be received much better, I think. 😂

Haha, yes, El Gato is The Cat. I found out Zorro meant Fox and wanted to keep the animal theme since Zorro inspired that idea. I do think Esteban shares some traits with cats (can be high maintenance, not friendly/open with just anyone, makes a mess when upset or instincts take over but typically prettt smooth/quick on feet, etc.). However, the cat fic was kind of me trying my hand at an old fanfic staple. There were lots of fics like those floating about back in like 2012. That being said, I think quite a few of my favorite characters have cat energy, so...

Vigilante Esteban AU Aesthetic

After establishing himself as chancellor and earning enough of Shuriki’s trust to have breathing room, Esteban devises a plan to help the people of Avalor in ways he cannot while carrying out his duties as chancellor. The steps he’s made - as chancellor to help Avalor’s economy flourish and run interference between Shuriki and others - don’t feel like enough, but he also knows he can’t jeopardize his position as chancellor. An accidental stumble upon a secret passage in the library reminds him that Shuriki is unaware of the palace’s complete layout, and his plan takes form.

Esteban creates a disguise to preserve his identity and begins training in one of the secret rooms. He increases his skills in evasion, sword fighting, close combat, setting traps, and stealth. When he deems himself ready, he plots a jail break to release Shuriki’s political prisoners. The execution is seamless, and he ensures their safe passage out of Avalor. He returns to the palace in high spirits and quickly establishes the pretense of having fallen asleep in the library while reading. Shuriki rages about the masked man undermining her authority, and he feigns disbelief.

In not too long, Shuriki selects a special legion of royal guard to deal with the masked man, and the locals refer to him as “El Gato.” Esteban quickly realizes how careful he needs to be in order to cover up his double life, and the effort it will take to perform both roles. He vows to shoulder the weight of the responsibility until he’s either found out, or Shuriki’s overthrown. The guilt doesn’t vanish, but, with every person he helps, managing it becomes easier.

Miguel Rivera’s been fascinated by the story of the legendary ghost, the Musician with Poison Tears, since he was a kid. He’s always wanted to know the full story behind the weeping specter that haunts the train station with its invisible guitar. Now 18, the travels to Mexico City to try to observe the ghost from afar and get some clues about its origin. Who knows? He might even get a song out of it.

Sometimes you just gotta hug it out…

You know I tend to be against the idea that hotch has no feelings but today I saw a post that says that hotch is a sociopath who wants to be different to show that he can be a good person and I liked the idea, just imagine the team at a dinner where rossi joking about how hotch can become too much like unsubs and hotch just explodes screaming that maybe it's because he's a sociopath and then he leaves rossi and the team doesn't see him until the next day. Morgan asked Garcia to review Hotch's medical records and Garcia confirms that Hotch was indeed diagnosed with an antisocial personality disorder at 21 (I like the idea that Hotch behaves a bit like Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock but you know din tar smart like Sherlock. I'm also totally ignoring the fact that the fbi wouldn't hire a sociopath)

Okay so like… this is so freaking fascinating to me. Sociopaths in general are fascinating because I always wonder what exactly about their brain is different from mine that makes it so they don’t “feel” things. And then there’s stories of those who never experienced emotions but learned how to fake them/mask to fit in with “normal” society.

And the idea of Aaron Hotchner, the Unit Chief of the FBI’s leading Behavioral Analysis Unit, being one of those people? Being someone who, in order to feel something has to hold the cold metal of a gun firmly in his hands, steady eye looking down the scope as he pulls the trigger, watching the blood fly and the unsub fall with a thud? The feeling isn’t exactly… excitement? Or regret? It’s just a buzz in the back of his mind, the closest thing he’s ever experienced to some sort of emotion. And he chases that feeling when he can, because he wants to know what it is. He wants to be able to understand it. The larger the weapon, the more blood that it creates in the death of an unsub, the more powerful the buzz.

Yeah I kinda lowkey like that.

(Of course I am not an expert in sociopathy or psychopathy and I am replying in a fictional sense. People diagnosed as such are not all horrible murderers!! Plenty of people who have these diagnosis live completely safe and “normal” lives, and have healthy relationships and jobs. I am just leaning into a fictional scenario).

au in where bill meets up with stan right before stan’s called to gravity falls after ford won’t let him pilot him around anymore by straight up not sleeping. When Stan eventually gets to gravity falls and says he’s seen Bill before from some of Ford’s drawings around the shack, they get to talk. After hearing about the demon possessing Ford and causing him severe harm and paranoia, Stan concludes it would help his brother if he took Ford’s place as the twin Bill had control of.

I just thought it’d be interesting if Bill stuck around gravity falls for just a couple more years with a backup host lol more plot under cut?

Celebrating my bday (yesterday lol) by announcing that I’m finally working on my human huskerdust AU again!! It’ll be a while before I update cause I want to be able to make the uploads a daily thing!

I just read this while writing a fanfic in which Vox actually had a loving family and is willing to try to redeem himself to see his daughter and wife who are in heaven again.

I've known about precedents where a fandom would create endless ideas about a villain being sympathetic and ship them with one of the main characters and then it turned out that there was canonically nothing sympathetic about said villain and after that that part of fandom went silent and ashamed and hated on and eventually died out

i never got to experience that phase of that fandom - the thrill of creating incorrect ideas and talking about fanon with people. there was something magical about it. so i think there is nothing evil or out of line in creating cheesy aus where a villain character is nice or shipping said villain, mischaracterizing him and doing other stuff. Creating a niche part of a fandom and being a part of it as long as its fun - what could be so bad about it? Even if it contradicts canon. I get it can be annoying but it cant last long. So its okay to be in the moment, if it makes you happy, I think.

I hate Alastor squad

I just had the funniest head canon of Lucifer going to meet Vox to help Charlie with advertisiment or something (maybe some silly ducks related things idk) and while talking being like "yeah I just wanna help my precious daughter but that radio demon what an asshole am I right?" And Vox literally tearing with joy because someone finally understands him (the king of hell himself) and so starting this crazy tantrum about hating Alastor while Lucifer is like: 🤨

Until he casually mentions that he's been away for 7 YEARS and Lucifer gasps in realisation connecting all the dots. He really hates Alastor now.
