First time drawing the gang. I’m really happy with how it turned out!!!
Well… I tried.
As a Radioapple fan, what I hope for in Hazbin hotel, is not that it will become canon (though that would be AMAZING!). No. I wish for a scene between Alastor and Lucifer like the Honda Odyssey scene from Deadpool and Wolverine.

I am hoping for Alastor and Lucifer’s relationship in season two, or later on, to become like Jake and Holt’s relationship from Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Alastor would be Holt and Lucifer would be Jake. Like, they annoy each other to no end, but they still endear and like each other. I can’t be the only one who’s hoping for this. I’m bringing up because I’m re-watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine and I’m currently on season one episode 10 a.k.a., Thanksgiving.
There was one scene in particular that made me think this.
Tiny bit of context for the episode: Amy is hosting a Thanksgiving party for the 99 crew. Jake doesn’t want to go because he hates thanksgiving. They get pulled away because of a case. Jake comes up with funny names/personas for him and Holt (who goes with him) while they go door to door looking for their culprit.
Jake: Yes! The case continues!
Holt: This is not good.
Jake: Right, sorry Jimes. *Looks to the other people.* His father was murdered by a bookie. *Looks back to Holt.* I know you miss him.
Holt: *Pinches bridge of nose in annoyance.*

Alastor being aroace makes his dynamic with Vox like 100% funnier. It's a villain rivalry, you immediately know people will look at these two and think "they crave each other carnally", except only one of them has the capacity for it. Which is the perfect set up for a ridiculous one-sided obsession, but then Alastor is shown to be acting way more unbothered by Vox than he actually is. Dude is walking the streets of Hell menacingly staring into cameras and doesn't even have the excuse of homosexuality. Both of these fuckers are goofy as hell.

I had to make this post to make it clear because I've seen a few ppl say the same thing. When Lucifer said "Well your first wife didn't seem to hate what I had to offer" he was clearly talking about Lilith and the fact that they married later, then he says "or the second" implying that he gave her something too. its a play on words because he did give both of them something but what he gave was completely different! for Lilith he gave himself and for Eve he gave the apple! so both of them did like what he had to offer, but it's important to remember what the offer actually was! that's why ep 1 takes the time to explain what happened between the 4 of them. the "bow chika wow wow" was just Lucifer being a little shit to piss Adam off because he doesn't like him and he's rubbing it in Adams face that both his brides chose something he had over Adam. so no they didn't sleep together, viv and the team are just super slick with their jokes lol

I found a new thing that absolutely gets on my nerves.
I was scrolling through the Alastor Aroace tag as you do and I keep seeing people say things like, 'if he's Aroace then why so fruity' or 'how can he be Aroace if he acts like this' referencing to the fact that he is eccentric and silly.
All I can think is, um, why is that important, like at all? I was already annoyed by the fact that people just say someone is gay simply because they act a certain way, that is both offensive to gay people and puts people in boxes, but now it's grown to be more than a frustration.
I mean, do people not see how freaking offensive that is? And it seems as if it's genuine sometimes and even if it's not it's not a funny joke.
What do you mean you don't think he can't be Aroace cause he kicks his feet and drops his wrist? That has nothing to do with sexual or romantic orientation! It's so... It makes me feel like him being Aroace is just a joke to them. That it's more of a silly note the author made than real representation.
Do these people not realize we can see things and that we exist? That, maybe, not every character you find fun and attractive is a gay man?
I just saw a Tiktok where it's like, 'I think he wants a man,' to that one scene of kicking his feet and it pissed me off.
Anyways, I just needed to say that.

Okay but the fact that Lucifer got Alastor to actually curse. The fact that Alastor cussed out the literal king to his face without any hesitation. The fact that he did so from the very bottom of his sinful heart.
And the fact that it was incited just by a snide comment about how unclever of a name “Hazbin Hotel” is
