ENTP: Ah....makes sense

*awkward silence*

ENTP, smirks: So what's your type?

INTP: Um... INTP?

ENTP, flustered: you know about MBTI?

INTP: What other types were you asking about? Ennegram?

ENTP: you're so godamn oblivious, marry me!

INTP: What were you doing in the mall for four hours?

ENTP: I FORGOT OKAY

INTP: at least you bought other stuff on the list, right?

ENTP: what list?

INTP: you know what, let's forget it. You paid the bills right? You said you would

I am so sorry for not putting ESTJ, ISTJ and ESTP, but there was only space for 12!!!!

You can always comment if you like any of those three with INTP.

Personally I don't think they will work out with INTP (as an INTP myself, I am not fond of people with those types that much....so)

ENTP: hey, what a surprise, you are calling me for the first time!

INTP: I need your help in killing someone

ENTP: I know you have a vengeance against the P.E teacher but you can't just kill him....

INTP: Not him! I want to kill INFJ.

ENTP: .....what...I thought you liked INFJ

INTP: Exactly, because of him I am getting neurochemical reactions in my brain that I don't like. I get anxious whenever I see him. I feel self-conscious and my heart pounds like crazy. INFJ reminds me of my grandma, mom and my favourite English teacher whenever he talks. He distracts me when he smiles. He needs to be eliminated.

ENTP:......I think you are in love.

INTP: SHUT UP ENTP, WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT LOVE?

ENTP: refuses to take or give gifts to S.O by saying "Valentine's day is a capitalistic holiday that's celebrated so that multinational companies can make a ton of money out of people's love for eachother"

INTP: what do you mean by "Happy Valentine's day" are you saying today is St. Valentine's birthday? I told you I am not interested in theology----

ENTP: you know I am getting bored, wanna rob banks or something?

INFJ: that is your first response to getting bored?

ESTP: it's not like we haven't done it before.

INFP: you have robbed banks before?

ESTJ: I stopped them before they could. Don't know what they will do if I am not there.

INTP: *whispers* have some real fun for ounce

ENTP: INTJ what do you think about robbing a bank?

ISFJ: obviously, he doesn't think it's a good thing!

INTJ: not really, in this money hungry capitalistic world, robbing a bank doesn't feel like a bad idea. Maybe we can start a revolt.

ESTP, ENTP: yeah rebellion!

INTP: I don't know. I am bored too but a rebellion will be too much work and people

INFP: I don't think......you know what fuck yeah!

ISFJ: you kids are really childish

ESTJ: that's why I am their babysitter.

INTJ: I don't. But you trick me into doing it.

ENTP: But are you having fun?

INTJ: And if I am, does your manipulation not count?

ENTP: I don't care about the manipulation, I care about you having fun!

Just came here to say I'm a Ne-dom and my thoughts are strongly visual. If you were to sit in a café with me and we'd talk about a certain topic, and then a month later I'd hear about that topic in a completely different situation, the image of the café and the exact view I had from my seat would pop up in my head.

Although I don't have color-synesthesia, my brain does make some weird associations. For example, when I play the guitar I associate notes and frets with specific gender, animals, etc.

Also, there is a term for not having visual imagination at all. It's called aphantasia.

Alright, this might be the weirdest question you’ve ever gotten, and I wouldn’t be surprised if you ignored it, but… do you picture Enneagram and/or MBTI types as colors? I know, weird, but I was reading your latest type 2 post (the one in which you mention Annie Wilkes and Alex) and suddenly I had one of those crazy realizations you have out of the blue - I have been seeing type 2 as something abstractly light pink all along since I’ve started learning about Enneagram around two years ago. Do you also do this? Coming to think about it, I once saw people on Tumblr, if I recall correctly, talking about doing something similar, but with school subjects, lol.

EDIT: Turns out it was Buzzfeed, lol

https://www.buzzfeed.com/sydrobinson1/what-colors-do-you-associate-with-these-school-subjects

https://www.buzzfeed.com/hattiesoykan/what-colour-do-you-associate-with-these-school-subjects

Interesting. I don’t do this, no, because I don’t have color-synesthesia. I have read about it in the past, and it would be interesting to know if it’s related to type at all or just a random occurrence in certain people.

I actually have very poor visualization skills. I’m not sure if it’s typed to being Ne-dom or if it’s just a weird thing my brain refuses to do, but I don’t think in pictures, colors, or even words – just in ‘thoughts.’ And when I’m envisioning a scene, I’m thinking in words rather than ‘seeing’ two characters do something. So when I think about 2, I think “the helper… over-helping… wanting love… pride” rather than envisioning a character, color, or person.

If anyone relates to the color thing, reblog and add your thoughts (rather than sending me an ask) since I’m curious to read it. :)

Okay so. This is my brand new blog right? And when I was registering Tumblr asked me how old I am. And my chaotic ass brain went, "Actually, how old am I?", and I just randomly looked at the calendar, saw it is February 24th today and went, "Ah yes, 24. Thank you, calendar."

If this is not a perfect example of coming to the right conclusion through wrong reasoning then I don't know what is.

possible enneagram combinations for the NTs (satire)(offensive)(Pdb be like)

INTJ:

1-INTJs can't be ones cause Si-less (Si=1)

2-INTJs can't be 2s because everyone knows INTJs don't feel emotions 🤓🤓

3-nooooo Ni doms can't be 3s they cannot possibly properly socialize with other homo sapiens

4-Too much Te (4s can only be IxFPs)(4s love to cry and INTJs are incapable of tears)

5-only Sp5 and So5 (being a Sx type indicates that the type has bitches and every INTJ is an incel who lives in their mom's basement)

6-sure why not (not Sp6 because it is too soft and weak and INTJs are emo badasses)

7-Not possible because INTJs hate parties

8-Se-less 💀 (Se=8 according to my uncle)

9-INTJs are not doormats therefore no (an INTJ online started yelling at me because I threatened to call the fbi to accuse them of having an iq below 300)

INTP:

1-not possible, INTPs have no productivity (somehow 1=procrastination-less) (in my experience INTPs never make their bed after they wake up)

2-No Fe 💀 therefore no 2 (INTPs don't know how to bake cookies and all 2s love sugar cookies)

3-INTPs have no ambition or social skills (lack of Te 💀) therefore they are un-3 (INTPs don't even have the ambition to get up from bed)

4-nooo 4 is Fi not Ti 😡😡

5-Only Sp5 (INTPs cannot be social types since social types can properly communicate with human beings and Sx5s have bitches)

6-INTPs are too 200 iq and all 6s are npc henchmen of 8w7

7-INTPs are too 🤓

8-INTPs are too 🤓

9-They overthink too much therefore they not 9 (9s are head empty and the only words they say are: I'm tired and I'm fine either way)

ENTJ:

1-yes cuz ENTJ yell (no Sp1)

2-no cuz ENTJ yell

3-ENTJ intensifies (no Sx3 because female energy 🤢🤮🤢)

4-nooooo ENTJs are Fi-less (ENTJs only have emotions because their zeal is powered by the tears of 4s)

5-nooooo ENTJs have no Ti and Te is too dumb and Ti is 500 iq and 5s cannot be stupid

6-ENTJs don’t focus on danger, they focus on ta grindset 😎💪

7-ENTJs are too sane to be 7s

8-ummm actually Te doms can't be 8s only Se doms can be 8s cause Te doms are just E1 and E3 karens trying to be cool 🤓🤓🤓

9-ENTJs are NOT submissive and breedable hence it is impossible for them to be 9s

ENTP:

1-no Si therefore not 1 (ENTPs hate it when the government threatens them for doing whatever the fuck they want)

2-all ENTPs are chaos demons therefore they can't be 2s (2s are too kind and innocent to commit several acts of first degree murder)

3-only So3 (ENTP is too lazy for Sp3 and too mean to be Sx3)

4-no Fi no 4 💀

5-ENTPs are E types and all 5s are hermits (being an E type indicates that the type touches grass dayly and that is 100% contradictory to 5s)

6-ENTPs never worry (from my mother's friend's cousin's brother's personal experience with his ENTP friend)

7-only Sp7 7w8 (7w6, So7 and Sx7s are too angelic. ENTPs love arson)

8-no Se no chadness 💀

9-all ENTPs are peace-breakers (one broke into my house and asked for Vbucks) therefore they are not 9s

simple (?) definitions of the functions

Edit: I made some changes (they are in italics)

Without a basic knowledge of the cognitive functions, it can be extremely hard to understand mbti. Here are the simplified definitions of the functions:

Ne (extroverted intuition): this function spreads intuition/ideas externally. The main thing Ne values is possibility. Ne wants to understand the dozens of ideas that stem from one event. It does not like to stick to one idea.

ex: when it sees a flower, it comes up with dozens of flower designs of its own. It thinks of all the possibility the flower can look like, thought Ne does not care if it is practical (or considered a “good” idea).

Ni (introverted intuition): this function forges an intuitive idea internally. Ni takes information in and thinks of one idea, one insight, on possibility. Like Ne, Ni is focused on what might be possible, not on what is tangible. It wants to dive deeper into the “truth” to find a secret meaning/contradiction.

Ex: when it sees dozens of flowers, it comes up with its own design of a flower. Unlike Ne, Ni takes its time to analyze the depth of one specific idea. Ne does not care much about the accuracy and worth of its ideas (it values possibilities more), while Ni wants its idea to be valuable.

Se (extroverted sensing): this function is focused on the external physical world around it. Se is focused on the present and what is happening in the moment. Like Si, it is focused on the small tangible details. Se is a fairly direct and objective function. It does not like to meddle with hypotheticals and theories (this does not mean Se is unintellectual). This function is a kinesthetic learner and likes to meddle with its environment.

Ex: when it sees a flower, it simply, well, sees it. It's a concrete object that has no other poetic meaning to it.

Si (introverted sensing): this function is focused on the real world in its head/internally. Si is oriented towards the past, towards repetition. It makes decisions based on how similar events in the past enrolled. Si values predictability (not necessarily tradition).

Ex: when it sees a flower, it remembers how the flower connects to past sensory details and it stores the details of the flower in its head for further use in the future.

Fi (introverted feeling): this function is focused on its own internal moral code/philosophy. It makes decisions based on how moral the situation is based on its own feelings and values. Fi is often seen as the function that wants to be authentic because it is concerned if the current situation/its decision aligns with its personal values.

Ex: when Fi gives gifts to other people, it contemplates on what gift it would like/value. Fi also analyzes how the gift would be valuable according to the person’s inner feelings and beliefs.

Fe (extroverted feeling): this function is focused on the external moral code. It is concerned if its actions align with external beliefs and ethnics. Fe makes decisions based on what the majority values. It is aware of how its actions will impact/meddle with the emotional state of other people*. Unlike Fi, Fe believes ethics are not decided by itself. Fe is objective, like Te.

*Though other functions might have this ability, Fe knows how other people feel on a “deeper level” and it is confident in its ability to do so (just like how Fi is confident in its ability to analyze its own beliefs). For example, Te might be able to analyze emotions on a surface level, but it has trouble understanding the emotions of others on an in-depth level. Plus, Te is not concerned with the emotional environment.*

Ex: when Fe gives gifts to other people, it gives gifts based on what the majority believes is the best gift.

Ti (introverted thinking): this function is focused on the logical world internally. It forges its own logical claims, reasoning and conclusions. Ti is mainly concerned with the internal consistency and analysis of one thing, rather than external evidence that supports it. Inductive reasoning. “The ball will fall because I’ve seen the same ball fall down multiple times, therefore it will fall down this time.” Ti cannot understand how one thing can contradict its own “rule”.

Ex: when Ti gives gifts, it forms an analysis on what gift would be the most beneficial based on the patterns and observations it witnesses.

Te (extroverted thinking): this function is focused on the external world of logic. It is focused on data, evidence and facts from the outside world. It is focused on if something is practical/aligns with external rules and principles. It analyzes things based on how it relates to similar external logical principles. “This ball will fall because I’ve seen other rubber balls like this fall, so it is logical to assume that this one will fall.” Deductive reasoning. Te cannot understand how one thing can contradict the “universal rule”.

Ex: when Te gives gifts, it analyzes what is the most beneficial gift by evaluating the already the existing/assumed benefits each gift option has and picks the gift with the best benefits.

This hit me hard. I currently don't understand why am i feeling what i feel right now it sucks

Things the Types Need to Hear

ESFP: Look, I get it, you leave people in the dust because you know how crazy and all over the place your life can be and you’re also crazy scared to let somebody in just to have it end up with you accidentally leaving them and both of you getting hurt, but emotional intimacy and real depth in friendships are 100% worth it in the end and it’s the struggle and fight of a lifetime to keep them in your life, but it’s also the greatest gift and you can’t keep denying yourself that intimacy and friendship.

ISFP: I know you have a lot of great desires and wonderful dreams and they might seem too far off and too crazy and too beautiful to come true, but you have them for a reason, and you gotta stop paralyzing yourself with fear and take that first step and throw yourself into the unknown, and that’s the scariest part, I know, but we both know you’re braver than you look, and that your passion can make it happen.

ENFP: I know that the moment you hit an obstacle or two when you first start working towards that far off dream, it’s scary and it makes you want to crumble and run away to a new thing like you think you always do, but don’t! You’re miles more tenacious and capable than you give yourself credit for and you’ve got to discipline yourself and trust that your talents and optimism can and will propel you through whatever is keeping you from your goals.

INFP: I know it’s hard to feel understood and it’s easy to let yourself become bitter by the ways of the world or whatever’s happening, but closing yourself off to others isn’t going to save you the pain. You have a natural capacity to understand others that’s hard for the other types to grasp and when you stop yourself from using that talent, or use it for selfish reasons, you’re doing yourself a massive injustice.

ESTP: Listen, I totally get that the world is full of fun and interesting things and you want to experience them all, but you’ve got to remember that for a lot of the people that come along with you, they’re there to experience YOU as much as they’re there for the thing itself. Don’t let yourself forget that half the fun of anything is who you’re doing it with.

ISTP: I know you generally don’t mean to yell or be rude when your irritated and that it’s really just a passing thing and you don’t generally care all that much, but just apologize to people after you’ve calmed down! Explain it to them and that you don’t mean it! Admit to yourself that you care enough about them to try to make amends, even when you’re just being a little crotchety; it means a lot to the feelers lol.

ENTP: You’re a genuinely fun person to be around and you usually rack up a reputation for that, but just because you’re funny and witty and damn smart doesn’t mean you don’t have feelings and problems that need to be externalized, and trust me, the right people will be more than willing to talk about what’s really happening in your life one minute and go back to elaborate jokes the next without a problem. Don’t stunt your emotional growth for the sake of brevity.

INTP: It’s okay to not know what to do in an emotional situation. Like, it’s genuinely okay. If somebody’s opening up to you, half the time your presence and you listening is 95% of what they need in that moment. Don’t avoid the situations just because it causes writer’s block emotionally. Emotional availability comes with experience. You’ll learn. Just, be your goofy self and the rest will come with time.

ENFJ: You’ve got to realize that although holding yourself to such a high standard is noble and praiseworthy, that it sometimes eclipses your ability to be a good friend when that was the goal in the first place. You’re human and can’t do everything for your friends that you’d want to be able to do when they need help, and profusely apologizing and beating yourself up for it just shifts the focus off of helping your friend and turns it to you. Accept your humanity, and just do what you can. They appreciate the help, I promise.

INFJ: I know you have a tendency to feel misunderstood and want people to show you that they love you and care about you, but you don’t get to say you’re fine AND disappear on people. Either say you’re not okay and pull back, or say you’re okay and stick around long enough for somebody to see through the BS. In my experience, y'all have a habit of making things a self-fulfilling prophecy, and that doesn’t do you any good! Be forward, be honest, and just be vulnerable; they care more than you convince yourself they do.

ESFJ: I need to be straight with y'all. Learn how to talk about something other than your 4-5 current fixations. In my experience, N’s have a crazy hard time being close with you because you keep bringing the topic back to one of your current Favorite Things™, whether it be the semester abroad you just got back from or the first date that’s scheduled for two weeks from now. Expand your area of interest and you’ll find people will be much more authentic with you.

ISFJ: You have this really amazing ability to notice the small things about people and that helps you show them you care about them in these really great and meaningful ways, but you can’t let yourself overthink the small things you notice about people. One of my good ISFJ friends started poking around trying to see if alcoholism ran in my family after noticing I’d been drinking wine a lot recently. You might have an intention to help, but overthinking/overanalyzing like that and trying to involve yourself in helping can hurt your friendships.

ESTJ: Your presence is powerful and intense and that’s great at times, but you’ve got to let out your goofy fun side more, and hoe we’ve all seen it before, you’re a damn riot after a beer or two. People, in general, care more about fun than having every plan go right during the night/event. Be willing to be fun more, you’re so good at it.

ISTJ: I know you get frustrated with yourself because you want to do new things and get out there and be a fun person, but the thing is, you’re so much better at being a responsible, caring person. Befriend the chaotic, crazy, lovable rascals and let them bring the fun to you (or more often than not, drag you kicking and screaming to where the fun is).

ENTJ: Look, I’m an INTJ, so I know how hard this is to swallow, but showing you care about a person sometimes isn’t so much giving them solutions to their problems or trying to correct an issue; a lot of the other types literally just want you to listen and hear them out. And you gotta do that sometimes, babe. And shut your damn mouth while they’re telling you everything, okay? Just. Let them finish.

INTJ: For the love of all that is holy, just cry already. Cry alone if you have to, or better yet, just go to the person you’d literally murder a thousand people for and freakin’ cry about all the crap you’ve been bottling up for the past two months and accept that you can have razor-sharp rationale and be a damn human at the same time. And just admit that you’re insecure about your relationship with that person because you care about them so much and you’re not the best at trusting people.

Things about you that contrast every stereotype of your MBTI type

(and in general are extremely unlike your type)

Vs

Most stereotypical traits of your's

I'll start:

ESTP (7w6)

Unstereotypical:

I wrote fanfiction, had a phase in which i doodled everyday. Have had one relationship so far, don't drink alcohol and the last time i was at a party was more than a year ago. I also hate team sports with a passion. I love learning new languages and am a total TV show nerd.I also binge watch. Also I have never been in a physical fight. Lmao . Btw i also love to have philosophical conversations with special people and am generally attuned with analyzing my dreams and the meaning behind them. I usually take a lot of time to make friends (real friends).

VS

Stereotypical:

I love the gym , calisthenics etc. I love cars and traveling, and exploring new places with a passion. I generally prefer being outdoors to indoors. I like camping and sometimes am a adrenaline junkie.
