Curate, connect, and discover
I've given multiple people existential crisis in a very short amount of time, multiple times. Should I be concerned with my mental state? Probably. Am I going to actually get worried about it? No.
Do you ever write a sentence and then realize “Nah, that’s too self aware for you” and backspace a bunch of times.
The problem w writing fiction is that you'll be like tee-hee I'm going to write a story about a fucked up little scenario that's got nothing to do with anything in real life, just some pure messed up nonsense, and then you finish it and take a step back and go aw rats I made a metaphor again
i never know how to act around binary queers who say things like "i love u women 🥰 men dni 😠" because i'm a woman, man & genderless being simultaneously. my gender fluctuates by the hour. so, like. is any detectable amount of man™ just unacceptable to you? or does my woman percentage™ cancel that out? & how do you feel about my genderless percentage™?
many of you claim to LOVE nonbinary people & yet refuse to let go of your binaries. help lol.
'Sunshine' this 'Sunshine protector' that.. what about 'grumpy' and 'grumpy defender'.
IS LEGO'S PASSWORD 12345 OR SOMETHING WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON
worst feeling ever is when i agree with 99% of a post but then there's that 1% that makes me want to set fire to op's blog
“On a bus filled with veterans, their families and actors heading to the series’s Normandy premiere last summer, someone shouted, “Hey, Doc.” Shane Taylor glanced up, and that was all Maxine Tircuit needed to figure out that Taylor was the actor playing her father, medic Eugene Roe. “He grabbed me and held me and we both cried,” she says”
it’s crazy how just a few simple synths and a beat with a robotic singer makes my brain feel like crying
or even just a piano
like what??? This song is so emotionally heavy and it’s just some piano totally not related to an emotionally painful event in some game?? or just a silly robot girlie trying to say everything she can before she disappears? what do you mean im crying, you’re crying waahhh-
I'm developing art block :(
My mother: (homophobically) Are there any shows these days that don't have gay people in it?
Me: Biting my tongue back because I could go into a whole rant about how underrepresented the LGBT community is in television and how when we ARE represented it's either stereotypical Gay Best Friends, or good looking, cis, gay white boys. I could tell her that all of it is usually blatant gross fan service and Hollywood throwing the dog a bone, and I could tell her that The Straights are freaking EVERYWHERE and since we've all been doomed to watch them fall into sappy repetitive overly dramatic cliched insta love over and over again in every.movie.and.tv.show.ever the least she could do is not be homophobic while the boyfriends in this show get their 30 seconds worth of allotted screen time (that was only given, in the first place, because Hollywood feel like they have no other choice but to be 'politically correct')
So I need backup here to show her.
Can you all PLEASE like and reblog the shit out of this post if you agree that the LGBT community on a whole is grossly mistreated and actually, contrary to what she may think, very underrepresented in the media.
Carmy berzatto is such a wonderfully written character, who is so beautifully complex in many ways and is portrayed so perfectly by JAW but every time he comes on screen the first damn thing that comes to my mind is “why is he so fucking t i n y ??”
