Was very nice to nestle into my comfort zone for another pinup after that last big drawing I did and!!! I got to reuse some of my flower brushes I'd made for it! Still trying to figure out how I like to draw flowers, and I certainly will get that hammered out, as I think Gale Dekarios and flowers are a lovely combination 😊

I‘m sooo normal (feral) about them

The thing that Baldur's Gate got right is that each companion is both extremely cool, tempered with an appropriate dose of cringe.

Gale is a powerful wizard. He uses the phrase 'pish posh' unironically.

Lae'zel is a badass. She asks you to fight her and then gets emotional because you're fighting even though that was her idea.

Karlach. Badass. But we've all seen her idle dance moves.

Wyll is this swashbuckling vigilante and he has a pose he does whenever he says his own superhero name.

Shadowheart. Dark backstory, still striving so hard for the light. Makes a joke about poisonous flowers that falls incredibly flat.

Astarion. Capable rogue and a dangerous vampire. He practises his one-liners ahead of time. Within earshot of the people he wants to use them on.

Gale is also 💯 the MVP of this chapter. He may not be getting the romance partner role in this fic, but he’s def gunning for bestie status 👯‍♂️

Chapter summary: Lae’zel puts Astarion and Miss Fortune through the paces, training them relentlessly until they learn to work together better. Things get flirtatious between the rogues as they get to know each other better, and Shadowheart puts Miss Fortune on the spot to reveal their past.

“It’s time for the two of you to start warming up,” the warrior commanded as soon as she noticed Miss Fortune was done eating. There was no room for bargaining or arguing in her tone. “You will go to the clearing, you will stretch every muscle, do push-ups, sit-ups, and squats to exhaustion twice, and lastly you will run until I decide to come stop you. Then, I will train you until I am satisfied that you’ve learned the lesson at hand.”

Miss Fortune could hear Astarion complaining under his breath the whole way to the clearing, and when they arrived he turned on them with a huff.

“Why don’t you just leave me at camp to watch the cook pot?” He demanded, waving his hands wildly. “Why put us through all this just to keep me on the road with you?”

“Is that what you want? To stay in camp?” They asked as they began to stretch their arms and shoulders.

“Wha—I didn’t say that,” the vampire countered, beginning his own stretches. “It’s just, wouldn’t that be easier?”

“And miss out on your witty banter and gorgeous face all day? Doesn’t sound easier to me,” Miss Fortune grinned.

“Oh, well in that case…” Astarion feigned sheepishness, brushing a curl behind his pointy ear. “Glad to see someone around here has good taste.”

“And you would know after last night, wouldn’t you? How good my taste is?” Miss Fortune dropped to the ground to begin stretching the lower half of their body. They chanced a quick glance up at the vampire and noticed an almost imperceptible shudder of ecstasy as he presumably recalled the taste of their blood. The half-elf had to look away quickly, hoping he didn’t catch sight of the hot blush razing across their cheeks.

“Aha! How delightful. Yes, you were scrumptious, my sweet. But to whom am I speaking today? Because it’s certainly not the same sad little bird who was ready to curl up and die last night.” Astarion followed suit, practically bending himself in half with seemingly no effort. Miss Fortune tried unsuccessfully not to let their eyes - or mind - drift too much at the sight. There was no denying that he had a great body, and the incredible flexibility had them feeling some type of way.

I (32 M) suffer from an illness that I developed while I was in a relationship with my ex-girlfriend (2000 F). The relationship was toxic, and years after we broke it off and I started dating my current partner (let's call them Tav, 28) of a few weeks I met one of my best friends, who is my ex-gf's coworker (472 M). He told me my ex found a way to stop my condition from deteriorating but she wants me to blow myself up and take out everything in 24 kilometer blast radius. My partner convinced me that I shouldn't do it, and I decided to live and not turn into a magic nuke and now my ex won't talk to me. AITA?

natsu?? def enby ish. probs any pronouns, is just vibing. i wanna say pansexual aromantic, bc he does have fanservice-y moments and is mostly just oblivious to romance.

erza and cana are basically canon wlw - am i wrong?? jellal’s the only guy erza’s ever liked and cana might go for a guy once in a while but wouldn’t be serious about it.

lucy and juvia are gay as hell. i refuse to accept juvia’s obsession with gray as romantic bc thats not what i think romance is but i definitely do believe it was sexual. also juvia is definitely somewhere in the enby spectrum. 

gray had a crush on erza at some point, probably also on natsu tho tbf. not lucy or juvia, at all - he’s definitely some form of demi, possibly asexual.

i can’t see jellal ever having romantic feelings for anyone but erza, so i’ll call him greyromantic. he’s also definitely asexual. not sex repulsed, but it isn’t something he has any desire for.

gajeel has always been ftm in my head and i have absolutely no reason for that. he n levy are doing great being str8 together, and i’m p comfortable saying they’re both straight.

also QUEERPLATONIC NALU is the future. lucy kinda thought it might be romantic at some point but natsu is very aromantic and now they chill and eat ice cream together. they are always mistaken for a couple, esp since natsu will get jealous if lucy spends more time w her partner than him but their solution for that was for natsu to tag along on dates like their kid.

natsu dragneel is aroace and overall a no labels guy in general. lucy heartfila is bi leaning guys but we all know she has a gf. gray fullbuster is gay or bi. erza scarlet is bi leaning girls.

natsu has a close ass relationship with lucy but they're not romantic in any way. they enjoy eachothers company, spend one on one time together etc (im bad at explaining JDNDKXJD). if juvia's obsessive and unhealthy behaviour towards gray wasn't canon, she'd probably be crushing on lucy. gray.... oh, gray. he is. oh, you know. erza is just vibing.
