Every Mentor/Mentee Relationship Ranked (Most to Least Fav)
1. All Might & Deku: They are one of the main relationships in MHA. I love that their dynamic is also a father-son one. My favorite moment is when All Might made Izuku a bento for him.
2. Hawks & Tokoyami: Their relationship was so interesting because their attitudes are different but mesh so well. I really liked that Tokoyami’s power grew when mentored by Hawks. Also, Tokoyami cried the first time when Hawks was grievously hurt and his spy status was revealed.
3. Gran Torino & Deku: I like their dynamic and Gran Torino helped Izuku level up his power. Deku incorporating Torino’s scarf was sweet but would’ve been better if the latter died (still shocked he didn’t die from Shigaraki’s attack).
4. Fat Gum, Kirishima, & Amajiki: Fat Gum’s jovial personality matches well with Kirishima while his supportive trait helped Amajiki grow. Fat Gum is also a fun character and he’s one of my favorite pro heroes.
5. Aizawa & Shinso: I was so happy that Shinso got a chance to try out the Hero Course. Aizawa giving Shinso a replica of his signature scarf and teaching him to be stealthy was great and upgraded Shinso’s hero potential. I wish they had more moments together.
6. Best Jeanist & Bakugo: I didn’t really care about this mentor/mentee relationship until it was implied that Bakugo wanted to wait and tell Jeanist his hero name first. Afterwards, I grew to really like it.
7. Sir Nighteye & Mirio: I liked how much they cared about each other. I teared up when Mirio cried after Nighteye’s goodbye and death. I think it would’ve been higher on the list if Nighteye didn’t die so soon.
8. Endeavor, Deku, Bakugo, & Shoto: I think I would’ve liked this group if more time was dedicated to the training. Shoto got better, but I don’t think Deku and Bakugo progressed that much compared to Todoroki.
9. Selkie & Tsuyu: Selkie’s a fun character and was a good mentor to Tsuyu. His louder personality and Tsuyu’s calmer one worked well. I liked the episodes he was in.
10. Ryuku, Uraraka, Tsuyu & Nejire: I like all these characters and their personalities meshed well. Ryuku seemed like a good mentor and hero but her character wasn’t that interesting.
11. Uraraka & Gunhead: Gunhead’s martial arts helped Uraraka throughout the series, but there is only one moment where their dynamic was shown. Gunhead seems like a nice guy though.
12. Midnight & Mina: I had no idea Midnight was Mina’s mentor until her death. I never really cared for Midnight so I was more angry with how her death was written than her actual death. I’m glad it led to Mina being a bit more prominent at least.
13. Uwabami, Momo, & Kendo: I was disappointed that Momo’s mentorship was this. I really wanted to see her potential grow, but all she did was the commercial. I didn’t care for the pro-hero and had to search up her name. The only good thing from this sequence is Momo and Kendo’s friendship. I understand that it wasn’t meant to show Stain’s point, but I’m disappointed that Momo didn’t progress like the other characters.
14. Manual & Iida: Manual was a nice guy and got along well with Iida.

Warnings!!: Shigaraki, blood, knifes, ending isn't very good, enjoy at your own risk.
"Come on, Y/N. Give him back."
You tilt your head innocently up at the red-headed girl. "Give who back?" You ask just as innocently, placing your palms on your chin. "I didn't do anything." You glance away, trying to bite back the smile that tugs on your lips.
Kendo gives you a look, one if it to say: I know what you did.
"Y/N...." She says in a warning tone, placing her hands on her hips and giving you a stern look.
You can't help but let out an amused giggle at her tone of voice. You stand up from your spot on the large crate, giving her an innocent smile. "Yes?" You reply, leaning forward.
Kendo sighs. She holds up three fingers, still one hand on her hip. "Fine. I'm gonna count to three. Ready?" She begins, placing down one finger. "One..." she begins.
This makes you stiffen. Things did NOT end well for you last time she did this, and you'd rather not be taken in by the heros, thank you very much. You're very content with the league of villains. Groaning in dissapointment, your hands make a shooing motion. "Okay, okay. Fine. I'll give the little blonde boy back." You grumble.
Kendo smiles sweetly in satisfaction. She puts her fingers down and nods once. "Thank you." She says, giving you a rewarding pat on the head.
You only grumble in response as you get off the crate, opening it. Inside, is a tied up Neito Monoma, the man you kidnapped from U.A hero academy because you knew it would bring your beloved to you. And he was incredibly annoying. He kept screaming. Honestly, you thought he would actually talk your ear off. So you drugged him, but know you realize that was a bad idea.
Kendo would not be happy with you if she found out you drugged her friend. You gulp, before lifting up the passed out blonde, and handing him to Kendo with a nervous smile on your face. "There. The annoying blonde man is back with you." You stay sternly, very annoyed she was just going to take him and leave. She wasn't even going to spend time with you! How annoying.
Kendo smiles sweetly. "You know, if you really wanted to see me, you could have just asked. I can just sneak out of the dorms." She says softly, stepping closer to you.
You roll your eyes, folding your arms and turning away. "Last time I asked, you left me on read." You snap back.
Kendo scoffs, though its more of a laugh. "Y/N, that was three in the morning! I was asleep!" She shakes her head, turning your head so her soft eyes meet yours.
You grumble, closing the crate again before sitting back down. "You did it for the blonde boy." You mutter, gesturing to Monoma, who Kendo's holding like a suitcase. You can't help but feel jealous, wanting the same attention from her that he got.
"What?" Kendo places her free hand on her hip. "This is different. You kidnapped him." She rubs the bridge between her nose, slightly amused by how jealous you got. "And if Monoma texted me in the middle of the night, asking me to come over and sending me a nude, I would beat him up." She smirks, sitting down next to you and wraping her arm around your shoulders.
You glance away. Now your embarrassed. You hated when she was right, which happens all the time. "Whatever." You respond curtly. Kendo hums in response. She gently cups your cheek, bringing your face back in her direction.
"I love you." She says sweetly, giving your cheek a soft caress. "And please don't kidnap my friend again." She adds.
She was like an enchantress. Everytime she said those words, I love you, you were like putty in her hands. She made you feel loved, which was something you hadn't felt for a long time.
Laying your face in her chest, you let out a muffled sigh. "I love you too." You mumble. You can feel the vibrations in her chest as she chuckles. She strokes your hair, her nails massaging your scalp.
"And no promises." You say quickly, lifting your head out of her chest. Kendo raises an eyebrow, and you quickly hide your face again. "...fine." you mumble.
Kendo eventually has to leave and bring Monoma back to U.A with her. But lucky for you, she doesn't leave without giving you a gentle kiss. You watch her leave the warehouse from a window, a happy and dazed look on your face, feeling a bit giddy.
...
You stare at your phone screen, annoyed and dissapointed.
Where was she?
You stare at the text conversation you two had. You asked her to come over, and she should be here! She even called you and confirmed she would meet you at the same old warehouse you both always met at.
So what was taking so long? She should be here.
"[Ur Villain Name]." A raspy voice says from behind you, making you jump slightly in surprise. Swiftly turning around, you see Shigaraki, staring at you with a stern expression and a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"O-oh. Tomura." You clear your throat, straightening up. "Whats up? Do you need me to go out on a misson for you?" You say, trying to keep your voice steady. How did he find you here? Did he see Kendo? Oh god, is he going to kill her? Your thoughts ran marathons through your head, playing like a broken record.
Shigaraki steps closer to you, a sickening grin on his face. "Just thought I'd check in on you." He says in a low and quiet voice, backing you up into a wall.
You feel your heart beat rapidly. You could see it in his eyes...
He knew.
He knew about your relationship with Kendo.
He was going to kill you.
Shigaraki snaps his fingers, his eyes on you as his sickening grin widens.
Kurogiri lays down a bag. Its not a grocery bag, or a book bag, but a body bag.
Your heart stops.
Kendo was on her way here, wasn't she? What if they got to her before she could get to you?
Then the body bag moves, and someone lets out muffled screams from inside the bag. You immediately run to the bag, tearing it open to reveal a terrified and tied up Kendo.
"Istuka!" You exclaim, hugging her tightly. "I thought they killed you...." you whisper, struggling to keep your voice steady. The best Kendo can do is nuzzle her face into your neck as she closes her eyes.
You glare, turning to Shigaraki. "What did you do to her?!" You growl, holding her tightly in your arms. "She didn't do anything wrong, why are you doing this?" You question, still glaring daggers at him.
Shigaraki lets out a dark chuckle. He tosses a knife at your feet, making a sharp sound as the metal falls to the concrete floor. "Kill her." He says in his dark raspy voice.
Your eyes widen. Fear strikes your heart, your blokd runs cold and goosebumps appear on your skin.
Shigaraki grins devilishly. "I don't like traitors. They piss me off." He begins, reaching a hand up to scratch at his neck. "But I'm very aware the league is all you have left, isn't it?"
He's right. Without the league of villains, you would just be a worthless street dog, feeding of scraps of garbage and begging for the rest of your pathetic life.
"So, kill her. Kill her and you're forgiven." Shigaraki grins, kicking the knife even closer to you. "You can stay with the league, and I won't have to kill you." He says darkly.
"Its her life or yours."
You feel Kendo freeze up at his words. She was terrified.
And so were you.
You dedicated your entire life to the league. You would be dead without their help. They fed you, taught you the right ways of the world, and made you feel welcome in a strange and chaotic world.
Kendo stares at you with fear in her eyes as you pick up the knife.
She trusted you.
Hell, she fucking loved you.
Were you really just going to kill her like she was nothing but a bug?
She watches you as you raise the knife, fury and resentment in your eyes as you stare down at her. Shigaraki watches with a sickening grin, getting some wicked entertainment from this.
Suddenly, you drop the knife to the ground, making it clank as it makes contact with the concrete floor.
You fall to your knees, sobbing as you grip your shirt.
How could you kill her? You loved her. The league may have given you a place to stay, but Kendo was your home.
You wanted to leave the league and start over at U.A with her. You wanted to become the hero you always wanted to be before your life turned upside down.
Kendo begins to cry as well as she watches you sob on the ground.
She wanted to hug you, to take you away from this place, somewhere where you could be free from the world.
The sickening sound of blood splattered on the concrete pierces her ears.
Her eyes widen as she sees Shigaraki stab you through the heart.
Tears stream down her face as you fall to the ground, blood already pooling around your body. She lets out muffled screams through the gag, struggling against the ropes as she trys to reach you.
Shigaraki laughs darkly as he pulls the knife out of your back, kicking your body to the side as he approaches Kendo.
"I should have known she would choose you." He growls as he approaches her, ignoring her kicks and attempts to fight back against him.
"Oh well. Lucky for me, Y/N's quirk wasn't that useful anyways. I'll just save some of her blood for Toga to drink later." He says menacingly.
Kendo's eyes widen as he raises the knife.
This was it.
She was going to die.
She stares at your body, your eyes no longer having the same light to them as they did before.
Kendo shakes her head frantically, snappinf her put of her thoughts.
No.
No, this wasn't how it was going to end for her.
She needed to make the world a better place for you.
She promised.
Kendo glares up at Shigaraki, acting quickly before he can lower the knife into her scalp. She swipes his legs, causing him to tumble backwards onto his ass as he drops the knife.
Kendo swiftly jumps up. She does her best to sprint out of the building, out and away from Shigaraki.
Kendo runs and runs.
And escapes.
She was going to live another day.
And she was going to avenge you.
Somehow, she would get her revenge.
Okay so I have this AU in which Monodeku are pro-heroes and live in an apartment together (with two cats but that's not important) and I also have this headcanon that Izuku can't cook. Anyways Neito shares his boyfriend's attempts at cooking with their friend group (Ochako, Tenya, Tsu, Shouto, Testu and Kendo) and it's just, so horrible. He burnt the mushroom cream soup :(
THIS IS SO SILLY OMG. WAIT. IM ACTUALLY GIGGLING SO BAD. I'm picturing monoma sending pictures of his dinner and going "guess what this is guys" and ochaco goes "IS HE TRYING TO KILL YOU??" And then tetsu sends like twelve articles called 'easy to make recipes for people who can't cook' kendou follows tetsu texts with "all of those look too hard for midoriya to make I'm sorry"
Shouto says that he'd try midoriya meal because he 'put so much effort in it' and then tsu says she already has a coffin ready
Tenya trys to convince everything that it's very admirable how much midriya and trying to cook yet when asked if he'd try midoriyas food he's extremely silent for some strange and totally unusual reason
Midoriya finally texts back "IT WAS A GRILLED CHEESE"

Mina only wears mismatching or funky socks and Momo must always be wearing matching socks.
Pony sleeps with the window open and consequently (or beneficially) always wakes up at sunrise.
Yanagi LOVES old movies but especially old horror movies (hence her hero name)
Komori is always wearing some form of height-altering shoes. She adores platforms and cute heels like no one else. You'll almost never find her wearing sneakers.
Kendo keeps at least 4 hair ties on her wrist at all times. She sleeps with them on her wrist too :)
Ochaco and Tooru love sitting on the floor over in chairs any day.
Setsuna often stands at her desk in class instead of sitting at it. It got to the point where halfway through the year Vlad King just removed her chair entirely.
Mina and Pony prefer to sit on top of their desks!
When nervous, Momo reties her hair very frequently
Ibara has impeccable balance and flexibility. It scares everyone.
Ochaco has a habit of swaying when sitting and standing that no one notices.
Yanagi and Tsu bond over how they have similar posture when walking :)
Kodai cannot drive for shit.
Pony and Kendo get tanned super easily and always have the worst tan lines.
Komori has freckles
Due to her habit of twirling her earjacks, Jirou twirls anything in her hands. This includes bottles and one time she twirled a can of soda, opened it, and then was shocked it burst open because she didn't remember flipping it.
Mina and Tooru both yell at the TV during movies and shows.
Kodai does Yoga every morning
Komori and Jirou are both secret boy group stans (post on this later <3)
Ibara always has painted nails.
Jirou has the loudest set of keys out of anyone in both classes A and B. There are like 10 million charms on her keys.

Todoroki, Midoriya, Ochaco, and sometimes Tsu will practice random dances in the gyms at UA. At one point in time, they passed Nedzu in the hallway, and he complimented their dance. The four of them were mortified.
The aforementioned dances are very elaborate things that require quirk usage which is why they use the school gyms. They call it quirk training. It is most certainly not.
One time-while still attending UA-they posted a dance cover to a song, and it blew UP! To the point where when they're pro heroes the four of them get asked to remake it.
They eventually do, but while fighting a group of low-level criminals. Everyone went insane over it because the skill it had to have taken to both perform an elaborate dance number all while beating up criminals really showcased why these four heroes are in the top ten.
One time, fresh out of UA, all of the boys in class 1-A lost a bet to Mina and they all had to wear heels for a day.
Shinshou, Kendo, and Setsuna all have an inside joke/little game going on where whenever Monoma starts saying something they'll somehow incorporate 1-A. They get bonus points if it's Midoriya specifically. At the moment Kendo is winning by about 25 points.
Some of the strangest we're when monoma was talking about the the recent English assignment they had and shinsou had gone "yk someone in 1-A probably scored higher than you" and monoma just stopped. he couldn't BELIEVE shinsou had just said that to him.
Another was when Kendo, Setsuna, and Monoma we're at the mall and he picked up a pair of shoes he liked. Kendo went "oh there is no way anyone would everrrr have the same taste in shoes as you" which got monoma started on how he had the best taste in shoes and that no one would ever have as great taste as him, ESPECIALLY not 1-A and even more specifically, NOT MIDORIYA.
