"Of all things, I liked books best."
- Nikola Tesla
People speak sometimes about the "bestial" cruelty of man, but that is terribly unjust and offensive to beasts, no animal could ever be so cruel as a man, so artfully, so artistically cruel.
Fyodor Dostoevsky

probably will finish in the margins by ferrante today.
i need to choose another but it's hard when you have many clarice books in your shelf and not think about picking one up.
i'm not doing ok since my birthday (feb 16th). it's raining a bit these days, so it makes my days better. thank god nature. 🌧🤍
also, it's time for restart studying: manifesting.
continuing this one today! i'm still on 10% but really enjoying it. it's funny and brings some good questions to think about.
other than that, i apply for next semester's classes. hope i'll be accepted at all of them.
i'm trying to think more about the projects i'd like to work on.
i hope it rains today. 🌧
i received these three clarice lispector books today! i'm so happy and ready to read her works. i already had other three.
pretty amazing, isn't it? the covers are crazy. i'm gonna start with the second one, água viva - my friend told me so.
apart from that, the days have been a little bit harder, and i can't wait for traveling. i need to get away.
but back to the books: i think i'm gonna really start a booktube. for that, i need to get over my shyness. i might not do it, i always leave projects halfway or 'noneway'.
hope everyone is having an amazing day. take care. 🤍🌧

kibogo - scholastique mukasonga
farsa da boa preguiça - ariano suassuna
read 'infocracia' with wine yesterday night and finished 'the right to sex' tonight which was good but not great. my plans are to read a bit more of 'lolita' or 'crime e castigo' tomorrow and find a better mindset, cause honestly i've not been feeling good lately.
hope everyone is having a good time in life. 🤍🌧
i've been feeling down today and it's been too hot lately. i tried to read a bit more of 'infocracia' with willow as a friend support, but i had to rewrite an essay for one of my classes. unfortunately, i didn't do that either. i just existed and that was it.
finished chouette tho, and i loved it. i'm very much into magical realism. the writing was definitely an experience!
and i decided to treat myself with a skincare night, maybe i'll try to finally watch aftersun. or just read a bit more. 🤍🌧
Guys I need good book recs... IDK WHAT TO READ ( also good fanfic recs pls ) 🫣
This is just a small list of things I do to add a little bit of coziness into my writing through my characters! Relationships (both platonic and romantic) are notoriously hard to write, so here are some of my tips!
Characters picking up on each other’s mannerisms
Characters finishing each other’s sentences
When one character trips/falls/slips and their friend(s) make fun of them before helping them up
Inside jokes
When a group is laughing together, characters who immediately look at each other to see if they found it funny also
Friends who can’t keep it together in serious situations when they’re together
Platonic touching (hugging, hand holding, high fives, etc.)
Characters discussing future plans
Intentionally making fun of each other in front of their crush/partner
Monday is normally the day I go to my bookstore and these memes just ran freely into my mind as I walk and (most of the times) buy a book or two 😅✨
What's your favorite book meme? ✨💗
i got a book on fables and its honestly very interesting
i also got a book on viking folklore so I’m most likely gonna dedicate myself to learning about myths, folklore, other stories and such but yeah
theres really just something about fantasy books that peaks your interest you know?
Look i personally grew out of wattpad 4 years ago and went to ao3 but i have to admit ao3 didn’t hit last night so i went to a place i haven’t thought abt in years and that’s wattpad.
Let me just say there will be rare rare times that wattpad actually has a good books that make u stay up all night. Granted the one i’m reading has a few cringey parts and parts that make u go “oh…” but it’s genuinely good for something written back in 2018.
The only real problem i have with it is that it’s written in first person which is throwing me off a bit since the last time i read a first person book was 4 years ago when i was still in my wattpad phase
And i gotta admit i missed cackling at the comments on every paragraph in a chapter wattpad readers have to be some of the funniest people ever
