Curate, connect, and discover
This is what made me get back into reading Manga. Kaiju no. 8, Marriage Toxin, the poetry of Ran, all fantastic works that DON’T TAKE PLACE IN A DAMN HIGH SCHOOL!
I don’t know if it’s like a bunch of people thinking your life ends at adulthood, or just pandering to a easier to please demographic, but what I need is stories that mix shit up!
I want a 35 year old woman, in a childless marriage to become a magical girl against her will! every day her Husband comes home, says “God, I had the worst day with these damn newbies” to which she’s like “…I talk to raccoons now, and their diplomacy with the foxes failed. I’m supposed to be the guardian of coexistence, but I honestly just want to torch everything past that damn tree line” And now he’s sad because he knows that she just wants to go back to her job as a floor manager at the sporting goods store, but it shut down and even if local businesses did pick up new hires, he knows the ever-cave deemed her a part of the reborn council, and now she’s one of a limited few who can calm the souls residing in the sea of trees.
more characters should be 30+ years old
Just spent like 3 hours writing out my shifting script from the notes app to Goodnotes 💀 did I have fun? Yes. Do I regret finishing it at 3 am? ….maybe :)
The ironic thing about cursive to me is that formed it naturally as a way for people to be able to write things quicker by not having to lift up their pen, but I feel like when I was growing up, cursive was treated as this big fancy thing that only the adults and rich people know and you can only have have extremely good penmanship in order to have proper cursive. That’s why it was super hard for us to learn it and we all wrote extremely slow and meticulously so that our teacher would give us our stamp in our textbook so we could go play uno with our friends and be other with it for the rest of class.
There's a reason why 90% of the people I know chose to stick to print script.
Birthday attack for the wonderful @motherbugmo of her au Papyrus, Script/Papillon! He is the best boy!!! ♡♡♡
You know the drill: New Chapter

This is the FIRST script(/draft) of the beginning of chapter one from my (graphic novel) Wings of The Ravens.
I didn't even give the novel an actual name (there was only the number of the AU) when I made this, and you see this "comic" is kind of old… Just look at the dates on the pictures.
The Ghost Portal model I made earlier was originally made for this, but it was still pretty hard to draw BG even with its "help" at that time. 😂
I thought I could start making pages, but the reality was that I wasn't ready. Things weren't clear at all, and I was busy and my skills of drawing/writing/story telling weren't good enough. So I stopped to learn and prepare.
Anyway, now I think it's just the first script(draft), which means it could be considered as early concept art, and sharing it really seems fine. ——————2019.03.17.
↓The model I made… 😂
I've been making a series I hope to post on YouTube. I won't go into detail but y'know I think it's cool. Anyway it's really just a me and a few friends project. I'm writing the scripts and doing the animation (yes it's animated) while also voice acting like 14 characters. My friend is voice acting the rest and will be helping with the editing. Anyway that's just exposition for the funny part of the post.
My friend was asking me where as this was going and I vaguely described the season 1 ending to them. They asked for specifics and stuff and I was just sitting there like, "Mx. do you think I know the specifics? I'm as in the dark as you are! I start writing and shit happens. Until we get to the one scene that inspired my writing trip I do not know shit until I edit it! We'll find out together! :)"
So yeah that's my writing process, what's yours? It's probably less chaaotic is what I would say if I didn't know what writers are like.
