mistylot (slightly) canon divergence

misty and lottie start dating post rescue bc nat dumped both for travis - again - and misty visited lottie at the hospital for a while because she needed someone to talk to about the whole situation. someone who truly understood her (in this instance, at least - two lesbians suffering over a bisexual girl who likes emo boys).

for some reason, they break up during the early-mid 2000's. an ugly break-up, makes both of them spiral into their worst versions all over again. lottie starts the "intentional community" and tries really hard to stay in touch with reality, while misty sinks into reddit and unresolved murder cases until she can't really think of anything else.

and this goes on until natalie gets out of rehab (again) looking for misty and all the canon adult stuff from season 1 happens - mistys love and caring for natalie, an old flame reignites. also, the beginning of season 2 - lotties need to make natalie 'heal' and her attempt to reconnect.

then, inevitably, misty and lottie reunite in s2 in lotties cult - we see them getting all weird during their first interaction, they try to act as if nothing has happened since none of the other girls have a clue about their past together (none of them answered misty nor visited lottie anyway, it was their secret).

they focus on fighting over nat again, just like old times, but obviously it doesn't work: lottie uses nat as an excuse to keep misty with them, misty gets crazy over lotties jealousy of nat...

they keep this chaotic dynamic until nat dies - misty stays in bed for weeks, mourning, and lottie is sent back to the mental facility, against her will. without natalie, they're both the outcasts again, so they try to bond with shauna. lottie tries to stay at her house, learning about her family and befriending callie, while misty tries to do the same she used to do with natalie, she wants shauna to do road trips and solve mysteries with her.

the day shauna asks misty to babysit callie (and lottie, lol) they have such a weird reunion, both mourning and with so many unresolved feelings. misty is clearly mad with lottie, but lottie comforts her and, again, they become each others safe haven.

that's when they start remembering the old times - slowly.

Imagine a fic where Wylan was kicked out when his father realised he couldn’t read (so at around eight or nine) and somehow survives in the barrel long enough to befriend Kaz, who is just a year or so older than him. Kaz develops a soft spot for this child who was reborn in the water same as he was, and Wylan essentially becomes his right hand man as Kaz works his way up the dregs and they become inseparable and all that. The rest of the story continues as in canon except Wylan is a bit more of a hardened criminal with less of a conscience and he and Kaz have a closer relationship (+ they’re very protective of each other obviously).

I feel like the Wesper dynamic would be really interesting as well, with Jesper perhaps being the more naive one in this.

The Protagonist finds themself hungry and decides to make a simple grilled cheese.

Tell the story of how they somehow summoned a demon into their bathroom, became the ruler of the fairy realm, and ended up with a peanut butter and jelly sandwich as a result.

id like to think that at some point in loki’s vast attempts at getting the loom to work he knew he would take a while so he just decided “fuck it” and him and mobius finally got their kiss

More Amnesia Bill AU

Amnesia Bill! I think it is a really bittersweet idea. I imagine they were going to do their ritual thing to get rid of him but after the ritual fails they opp on trying to kill him. Fortunately, no one can really bring themselves to kill him, since he’s so lost and confused about everything. Genieuly helpless and everyone just takes pity.

I said in my last post he would remember some things via dreams and shit, but I think the only thing he would remember in the start would be his parents. Can you imagine Ford mentally preparing himself to kill Bill, just to hear him talk about his parents so suddenly? I don’t think he would say a lot, but just like, “I was close with my mom. I don’t know where she is,” or something like that.

More about the whole regaining memories bit by bit, I swear up and down he would have a meltdown in the middle of the night because he regained the memory that HE DESTROYED HIS DIMENSION. Even though he keeps getting told it’s just a nightmare, it definitely wasn’t just a nightmare, he’s reliving the worst of the worst every night.

Slow a burn story. I fw the whole enemies to lovers but in this case, it’s a one-sided enemies shit. Ford (and everyone else as mentioned in the last post) hates Bill—Ford shows it, whether subtly or outright, he leans more into the subtleness of it all. After a while, he does realize Bill is genuinely powerless and not faking shit. He would be more sympathetic, but he definitely will still harbor the animosity for a while; however, Bill definitely fell in love during the time Ford was more sympathetic to him.

The start between them is like, Bill wanted to be friends with Ford because he seemed to know him like the back of his hand. Bill doesn’t have romantic feelings for Ford in the start, rather just this kind of desperation to cling to anything or anyone that can help him remember something, anything. Ford definitely didn’t like him, and any time Bill tried interacting with him, he either ignored him or walked away. Avoidance is key, but he can’t avoid the man forever. Eventually, they start to talk—more like Bill does the talking—Ford becomes a lot more invested whenever Bill talks about his memories. There were definitely times he got a bit worried Bill would remember their time together.

Bill's continuous nightmares would get so bad, Ford decided to stay with him for a night.

Last post, I said Mabel would be the only one to believe Bill, loosely. She shows her sympathy to him early on, but she’s still super weary of him. he helped him settle in a bit and when he needed to cry and tell someone about a new memory he regained, he’d always tell Mabel. Like his parents. A small conversation like this perchance?

“I wanted to show them the stars, that’s all I wanted. No one knew what I was talking about then. I wonder if they can see the stars now.”

“I’m sure they can now—hey, maybe they see you right now? I bet your parents would be happy to see where you are right now.”

“You reallY think they can see me?”

“Oh definitely. With your looks and personality, how can they miss you?”

While everyone is weary of Bill and lowkey trying to get rid of him, Bill is enjoying his time bonding with Mabel, even if she sometimes slips up and shows her suspicions towards him.

Bill's relationship with Stanley and Dipper is really rough. Like, genuinely, they don’t hide the fact they don’t like him, especially Dipper. Bill could be sweeping and then Dipper is in the back praying for his downfall. Dipper definitely shuns him and on some bad days, he does lash out at Bill. I don’t think their relationship would get super better over time, rather, I think it would become something like tolerance. As much as Dipper hates him, he doesn’t really have much of a say in what happens. He doesn’t show his hate toward him too much, occasionally they can have a decent conversation, but when push comes to shove, Dipper will definitely lash out at Bill again.

The same can be said about Stan, though I do think he would somewhat come around to like Bill. Not by much, just a bit. Just like Dipper, he would lash out, but he took a more teasing approach towards Bill, knowing it would definitely annoy the demon. Even if it went over Bill’s head, he definitely sensed him getting really agitated about it. He messes with Bill more so, his way of letting out his hate for him. Bill can tell Stan doesn’t like him, but he rather have to deal with stan’s antics than to be ignored all the time.

Ok but what do you think was Vi's reaction to Cait losing her eye after everything like-

What if we had a new Disney film with the main character as this pessimistic cynic who's co-lead is this magical sunny optimist (very much like EPIC's Polites in "Open Arms")

The whole plot would be these two fighting against this evil which is trying to take away or break the magic of the world to try and prove themselves right about the uselessness of hope (or something along those lines their basically and old school Disney villian like Maleficent or Hades)

The cynic learning that the world does have hope/things can get better and that just saying things suck isn't going to change it and the optimist learns to have more caution in situations and that whilst it is good to see the world as this bright loving place it should not blind you to the reality that not everyone is good or kind and that shouldn't keep you down.

Holy shit!!!! Where's the fic!? I can imagine the angst potential and it is SENDING ME! Like the obvious angst that comes with not actually unrequited love fics and the sacrifice themself for their love trope as well as the will they won't they death thing but also the overall arc of starting by going back to the northern water tribe. The place of so many unresolved issues for especially Sokka but also Zuko given how he's trying so hard to atone for past mistakes he and his people made. He may even take the blame of Yue as it was him and his people that attacked that night. Even though it was ultimately Zhaos fault for how that night turned out it would be in character for Zuko to take the blame on himself especially when directly faced with the loss Yue's death caused. Of course seeing Sokka having a hard time over past memories would make it that much worse and when Sokka throws himself in front of an attack Zuko feels he ultimately deserves? The guilt and self-loathing would be SO much worse. When Sokka is grievously injured by this to the point no one knows if he will survive? That guilt and self-loathing rolls up into an intense ball of pain. There's also the regret of not being brave enough to tell Sokka how he felt before it was possibly too late. All this combined would mean that if Sokka didn't survive, Zuko would have a hard time finding the will to himself. Severely needing someone to confide all of this to and reassuring himself that Sokka couldn't hear him anyway, he starts to talk. After all he can't do anything about the majority of his problems but not being more open with Sokka? That's something he can work on, even if it all falls on deaf ears. However Sokka is much more aware than Zuko knows as we are well aware. While in the spirit world Sokka is able to receive that closure from Yue but is forced to listen to the one he loves unknowingly bare his soul to him and Sokka finds that Zuko is struggling much more than he assumed he would. Now confronted with Zukos pain as well as his own from not being able to fix it, that pining angst would be almost UNBEARABLE! We all know Sokka is a fixer. When he sees the people he loves in pain, he has this urge to make it all go away. Knowing there is nothing he can do, the crushing feelings of helplessness would be nearly overwhelming. However the reassurance from Yue that it's ok to move on and that what happened to her was not his fault would ultimately be very important for Sokka's character. Plus when Sokka and Zuko reunite and we finally get sweet sweet communication and confirmations of "yes, I heard everything. Yes I love you too. Yes I'm okay," it'll just be *chef's kiss*🤌

Ok a zukka fic idea: so after the war Sokka decides to stay in the fire nation with zuko. But first he does have to cover some things in the water tribes. He spends some time in the south trying to make tentative alliances and treaties and such. He also helps oversee the reconstruction effort and migrations from the sister tribe. He takes a short break to spend time in the fire nation (for business only... not because he misses a certain fire lord...). (1) - 🐼

So he goes back to the fire nation before he heads up north, to meet with other nobles that aren’t in the southern water tribe. And zuko comes with him. They are both pining still, because they are both idiots. But one day (either the first day or sometime during their visit) someone tries to attack zuko. Mainly Bc they still blame him for the previous damage or just Bc he’s the from the fire nation or he’s the fire lord. I also think it would make it interesting if it was yue’s fiancé. (2) -🐼

So someone tries to attack zuko, but right before zuko can react or the attack hits him, sokka jumps in the way to protect zuko. And he falls off into the water. When they retrieve him he’s unconscious and barely alive. The healers can only do so much and he remains unconscious. We see zuko promptly break down over this. And he regrets never telling sokka how he feels and stuff. And maybe we sokka is aware of what’s happening around him. Maybe he’s in the spirit world. (3) -🐼

So sokka’s unconscious...... and he’s getting worse. The healers notice this. Zuko notices this. Sokka knows this. But the in the spirit world we see Yue. And she saves him. Kinda like how the moon did that for her before she does that for sokka now. And he wakes up with white hair and maybe a moon marking or something. Then we see the aftermath. Sokka has to deal with Yue saving him and seeing her again. Zuko has to deal with almost losing sokka. (4) -🐼

They end up together ofc. But yeah idk. What do you think? - 🐼

this is SUCH A GOOD IDEA and it’s a really clever way to incorporate @peachieflame’s moon spirit sokka into a post-canon zukka au! i seriously love everything about this.

maybe seeing yue again would really cement in sokka’s brain how much his love for her was mostly infatuation, and how what he feels for zuko goes so, so much deeper than that. her and sokka would have many a beautiful conversation during their time together, i think.

she’d do something that would allow them to visit sokka’s room where he’s been healing. they’d be able to see zuko sitting at his bedside, holding one of sokka’s hands between both of his, knuckles against his lips.

in the spirit world, yue and sokka would talk about deep stuff, but i think they’d also have a lot of fun, too. finally yue would be able to show someone all the fun spots in the spirit world that she’d never been able to share with anyone else. she kind of wants sokka to stay with her forever, but she knows that ultimately, it’s not his time yet. i think deep in her heart, she’d know that it’s her duty to give some of the moon spirit life energy to sokka, and bring him back to the land of the living.

(i like to think sokka would wake up with a massive mark/tattoo because of the time he spent in the spirit world - a koi fish across the expanse of his back and flowing water that would curl over one shoulder and down his arm, and stretch down his opposite leg, to remind him what saved his life.)

throughout his time in the spirit world, sokka would have checked up on zuko SO MUCH that he’d be pretty damn sure that his feelings are returned. he’d have overheard so many conversations and little snippets that zuko would whisper to him. (maybe when zuko is specifically speaking to him, sokka can hear him no matter where in the spirit world he is. he’ll be sitting on a tree stump with yue and he’ll just hear zuko’s quiet rasp of “please, sokka. please come back to me.”) sokka would want to get back right then and there, but yue holds his wrist so he can’t get very far, and says, “not yet.”

one day, yue will press a hand to sokka’s heart, and say, “it’s time.” she presses harder, and oh, that kind of hurts. he feels a prickling sensation across his back and arm and leg, and a burning across his whole body that he hasn’t felt since the ice water dragged him into its depths.

but then he’s blinking his eyes open and zuko’s right there, and then they kiss and talk about how head over heels in love they are and live happily ever after 😌

ok so I’m not a fanfic writer //anymore// so I’ll just put this idea out there

You know how alot of people REALLY love Sun but hate Moon for whatever reason?

so imagine a Sun/Moon x Nb Reader fluff/ hurt comfort fanfic in which;

 the reader just loves, and I mean ABSOLUTELY ADORES Sun, they’re really close and talk about anything, EVERYTHING, so- a really good relationship //friendship or otherwise// a lot of hugging, cuddling, Sun following the reader around, all the good shit.

 Moon, seeing this, rationalizes that; because the reader loves Sun so much they MUST love them too, right?  -Even though they’ve never ACTUALLY met-  and Moon, being socially inept decides to try and interact with the reader, but comes off as too hostile, hurting/ and or scaring them, badly, this happens two separate times, both resulting in the reader sprinting out of the daycare, the third time it happens reader tho instead of just running away, the reader blows up at Moon, //probably cursing them out// and says how much they don’t want/like Moon, and how the reader wishes that they’d just leave them alone, and talking about how creepy they look, before storming off, ending with something along the lines of being done with BOTH Sun and Moon. //reader doesn't want to be around Sun in fear that the lights randomly go out and they have to deal with Moon OR they see Sun and moon as basically the same person//

Now this obviously devastates Moon, “why don’t they love me too? what did I do wrong? why is everyone so scared of me? why do so many people hate me but not Sun?”

Moon stops doing their actual job at night instead opting to follow the reader around, leaving any animatronic that might of got itself broken somehow alone. they’re too scared to try and talk to them cause they don’t want to get yelled at again or scare them. //fears confrontation with staff cause past or ongoing abuse???//

Sun tries their best to talk to their friend again to no luck, they never come around the daycare as much/at all so Sun is essentially completely alone again all night because he isn’t actually allowed to leave. He //probably// blames Moon for the whole situation.

I basically have the whole story planned out uh- but I’m lazy so do with this idea what you will. <3
