Speaking of, I can't wait to see my man on Saturday <333 I haven't seen him since early October, so getting to spend a week and 2 holidays with him will be absolutely amazing. Hopefully his mom likes the little gifts I got her.

Day 26: 90 Day Challenge π
Yesterday (Monday) was my 21st birthday and I honestly actually did nothing. I ordered myself food, revieved flowers from my boyfriend, and stayed in bed all day. I didn't do any skincare, I was in sweatpants all day, and I actually cried for an hour in the morning because i typically don't like my birthday and tend to get emotional every year.
Not much to really talk about, so consider this my day 26 update.
I will update on today either tonight or tomorrow.

Here's to 21, and knowing that this year will be so much better than the last!

if I made an instagram account as like an extension of my tumblr, would anyone follow it? Iβd post tips, routines, fave products, etc. it would have academic, fitness, health, lifestyle, girly content. Literally an extension of this blog but on insta.
2024 goals & resolutions π
with 2024 right around the corner I figured it would be a good idea to list out some of my 2024 goals in the different areas of my life. I will have financial goals, health goals, fitness goals, academic goals, and relationship goals.

My *Updated Winter Skincare Routine + Some Tips π
I have tried out some new products and have found some new personal favorite skincare items for the winter! I figured Iβd update on my current morning and night skincare routines and add in some tips (based on things Iβve been doing that have been working for me). I am not a dermatologist or professional, these are sino,y my routines and what works for me!

Wash my face with Cerave Hydrating Face Wash and cold water
Pat dry with a paper towel
Apply Jumiso Vitamin C Serum
Follow up with Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Cream
Use sunscreen, Beauty of Joseon Rice + Probiotics SPF 50
thatβs my simple little morning routine! I love it so much more for than my super complicated routine because sometimes itβs nice to just get in and get my skincare done for the morning.
π©· Night Skincare Routine
these two things stay the same every night, but the rest differs by night
Oil cleanse on dry skin with Anua Pore Control Cleansing Oil
Follow up with using the B.Lab Matcha Foam Hydrating Cleanser

I use the Cerave Eye Repair Cream on my under eyes
Lastly, I use the Cosrx All In One Snail Cream
Tuesday/Thursday - Retinal Eye Cream Days
I use the Anua Heartleaf 77% Soothing Toner
Next, Iβll use the Torriden Dive In Low Molecule Hyaluronic Serum
Then Iβll occasionally use the Skin 1004 Centella AsiΓ‘tica Ampoule serum
Then I Pat a bit of the Beauty of Joseon Revive Eye Cream under my eyes
Lastly, I lock it all in with my Etude Soon Jung Hydro Barrier Cream
Saturday - Basic Day
Iβll use the Iβm From Rice Toner on this day
Then Iβll use the Good Molecules Hyaluronic Acid Serum
Followed by either the Anua Peach Nicain Serum OR the Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum
Iβll Pat the Cerave Eye Repair Cream into the under eye area
Then I lock it all in with Etude Soon Jung Hydro Barrier Cream
Sunday - Full Self Care Day
Before double cleansing, I use the Beauty of Joseon Red Bean Face Mask (I love her)
Then I double cleanse
Then Iβll use the Anua Toner Pads
Then I use my Cosrx Snail Mucin Essence
Then I use either of my Hyaluronic Serums depending on how I feel
Then Iβll use the Axis Y Dark Spot Correcting Glow Serum
Cerave Eye Cream of course
Then I use the Cosrx All In One Snail Cream
Every Night -
I pat a little Hyaluronic acid serum into my lips and seal it with Vaseline
a lot of products, yes, but I went crazy and bought a bunch of skincare and now Iβm using it and my skin loves all of it honestly! My skin is not super sensitive so I use everything within reason in a way that wonβt irritate it. For me, I know what works for my skin and what doesnβt, and thatβs been the most helpful thing. Now, for some tips,
π©· Skincare Tips
Apply vitamin C to dry skin! Iβve heard this helps with absorption and the way the serum works!
Pat face dry, do not rub! Rubbing irritates the skin and pulling on it aggressively like that isnβt good long term
Use clean paper towels! May be a bit wasteful but itβs a lot cleaner then using a face towel that you wash once a week
Apply Hyaluronic Acid to damp skin for better absorption!
Apply all serums to your clean fingers to pat into skin as dragging the droppers across your skin can collect bacteria and what not
Always use sunscreen! I myself sometimes forget or I skip it and thatβs just not good for your skins health long term
drink your water!!! Hydrated skin starts from within, lovelies
Use products that work for your skin type! Avoid fragrances if you have sensitive skin, avoid snail mucin if you have a dust allergy, etc
Cold water in the morning to refresh your skin and wake you up
if I've washed my face + done my skincare the night before, I do not wash my face in the morning. I simply splash with cold water and do my morning routine.
learn your skin type! this will help you determine what products will be beneficial for your skin type and goals. My skin bounces between oily and dry depending on the weather, if I did skincare, if my pillowcases are clean, etc.
don't touch your face, at least not with dirty hands. always make sure your hands are clean before touching your face
don't pop acne! not only with this leave the chance of scarring, but it spreads the bacteria from one pimple to the rest of your face
brush your teeth before doing skincare. when you brush your teeth after, you may rub off the stuff you've applied or mix it in, which is not the best for your skin
those are all the tips I currently use in my everyday life regarding my skin! I hope this was useful!

A Bit About Me π
So I've been getting tagged in a lot of stuff that is basically just talking about yourself. Favorite color, music artists, movies, etc. I never reblog because honestly, I'm not the best at formatting all of that stuff and I don't have the patience to figure it out. So I thought I'd make a little post about myself, including some of my favorites and just little bits of info on me!
π©· I am currently turning 21 very soon
π©· I am studying nutrition at my university
π©· I am in a 1.5+ year relationship w/my man
π©· Favorite Color(s): light pink, black, white
π©· Favorite Movie(s): Barbie & The 12 Dancing Princesses, Bratz Live Action (very nostalgic for me, those are childhood favorites for sure)
π©· Favorite TV Show(s): I really really like Anime, but my current comfort show is American Dad
π©· Favorite Music: Kpop, hands down
π©· Hobbies: I like to read, draw, work out, take walks, do my makeup
π©· Favorite Book Genre: Self Help, though I'm open to read just about anything
π©· Favorite Female Kpop Idols: Lisa, Wonyoung, Yunjin, Yuna, and all of (G)-Idle and New Jeans
π©· Favorite foods: pasta, salads with balsamic vinaigrette, dark chocolate, and Greek yogurt bowls
π©· Favorite Scents: flowery or gourmand. I have an almond macaron candle and it smells divine
That's just a bit about me! If anyone has any specific questions, send me an ask and I'll be happy to respond!
Will be making a couple more updates soon. Favorite drugstore makeup, my current favorite skincare products/routines, favorite meals, 2024 vision board, etc!!

Winter Break Goals/Habits/Things to Begin
So, my winter break begins Saturday officially, even tho I finish all my schoolwork by tomorrow/Thursday. I figured to keep me on track with my goal of being a better me in 2024, I'd make a list of some things I'd like to incorporate into my days during my 6 week long winter break! Not everything will be accomplished, but I'm going to try my hardest.
π©· My Winter Break List π©·
consistent workout routine 3-5 days a week
try out a pilates class (local studio)
study japanese/spanish every day (create a new routine for studying either)
consistent sleep schedule (10pm - 6am)
daily afternoon hot girl walks (30+ minutes)
daily gratitude journaling
answer a journal prompt daily
read every day, 1 chapter of a book minimum
pick up a hobby and practice it several times a week (drawing, crochet, etc)
daily morning and night skincare
daily meditation (in the morning)
educate myself on healthy financial habits
drink electrolytes daily
watch one episode of a TV show minimum (NOT American Dad - thats my comfort sho)
clean bedroom and do laundry often, weekly at worst
get ready for the day, every day (do my hair, wear clothes I DIDNT sleep in, maybe some light makeup)
eat breakfast every day
meet my protein goal daily
track all my habits daily
it seems like a lot, yes, but it is completely doable as some of these habits take 10 minutes or less and I have 24 hours in a day to fill up. I get bored very easy si if I don't set goals, I'll end up staying in bed on my phone all day long and that's not healthy or productive whatsoever. I'll include these in my daily challenge updates too to keep myself accountable!!
here's to trying ro be a better me!

90 days is a long time but I'm finding I'm enjoying these daily updates more and more as I keep posting them. Its so nice to be able to share my daily life and little accomplishments with people <3 yesterday (saturday) was a fairly decent day despite the fact that I didn't fall asleep until midnight last night. What is your morning and night routine ?
So, I don't follow these to their exact details every single day, but these are my ideal routines that, at the very least, I try to accomplish some of these things every day. This is just what I've currently been doing, to keep this as honest as possible.
π©· Morning Routine -
wake up, drink some water (typically about half a 16oz water bottle)
put on my sweatpants, use the bathroom, wash my hands
brush my teeth, wash my face, do my morning skincare routine (currently using Cerave Hydrating Face Wash, Vitamin C serum, a thick moisturizer, and a lightweight sunscreen, I also apply hyaluronic acid to my lips and lock it in with a layer of vaseline or aquaphor) - need to update my skincare routine on here
make my bed
plug in all my electronics to charge if I didn't do it the night before
sit at my desk, write in my guided journal
answer a journal prompt from the Daily Haloha app on my phone
I typically check my emails, social media's, etc around this time and drink a hot cup of coffee
depending on what I have to do that day, I'll get ready (what I wear depends on where I'm going - gym, only classes, work, etc)
do my hair and maybe some makeup (again, depends)
pack my bags accordingly (school stuff in backpack, work stuff in work bag, respective gym stuff in school bag - all depends on the day)
clear any dishes and unnecessary trash from my room/desk area
pop on my headphones, grab my keys, head to my destination
I did not include breakfast as i typically eat on campus, or i skip breakfast because im not hungry. Some morning i shower and then do the brsuh teeth and skincare but it depends. I will update my ideal day routine for winter break as I will not be working or going to school during that time. it'll be the perfect chance to work on myself <3
π©· Night Routine -
(shower if i didn't shower earlier in the day)
change into sweatpants and a shirt to sleep in
brush my teeth, wash my face (double cleanse most nights, follow my routine for that night) - I use a skincare diary app to create my routines by day and I love it
complete my night guided journal
scroll my social media's for a little bit
plug in all my devices (except my watch, I wear that to track my sleep sometimes)
lay down, typically zoom call my boyfriend for a little bit
after the zoom call, I honestly watch asmr until I get super tired and then I switch off my iPad.
plug my phone in, take off my glasses, take a small drink of water, close my eyes and fall asleep.
I typically try to wake up between 4 and 6am, and I try to go to bed between 8 and 10pm, sometimes 11 if I plan to sleep in the next day. I didn't include journal prompts or reading as I do those throughout the day and don't count them as part of a set routine.
Will update soon with my ideal routine I want to follow for morning and night during my 6 week winter break! will include gym time, breakfast time, etc. I know these routines don't seem so girly and lovely, but as a stressed-out college junior, this is what I do. I try to be realistic on here, as much as I can.
til next time lovelies π©· and thank you for the ask!

drank a liter of essentia electrolyte water
I tried oxyshred for the first time (not bad, but I don't know if I actually like the flavor I got). It definitely made me sweat a bit more than usual and gave me some good energy)
π§ Mental Health
I answered a journal prompt "What do I need more of this next month" and the answer was consistency and discipline as I believe those go hand in hand together
β€οΈ Emotional Health
I have no idea what I did for my emotional health yesterday other then that I had a really good day overall
π Intellectual Health
completed and submitted my final paper for Psyc
completed my makeup lab for anatomy

I actually did a good amount of things yesterday, surprising with how much time I spent in bed not feeling like myself. But today is going to be a good day! My goals for today are to have a decent morning routine, finish and submit my final research study paper for my psyc class, attend the make up lab session for anatomy, attend the lan session for my psyc final exam (that's on monday), go to the gym, and make it through my work shift.

Day 14 & 15 - 90 Day Challenge π
So I'm updating for those two days (Tuesday and Wednesday) because I was semi bedridden with pain in my head and stomach for those two days. Even today uve been feeling some odd pins and needles type chest pain at random times. I don't know if it had something to do with Mondays workout, or other personal issues, or even just stress and high cortisol, but I was in a good deal of pain. (I think it's all the stress I'm enduring, tbh)
I did finish some editing for my final paper due tomorrow (that I need to finish entirely today), and i did make it to my cooking class on Tuesday night but geeze I've been in so much uncomfortable pain. And I'm losing my health insurance tomorrow so there's no time to get it checked out, at least not until i figure out how to get other health insurance.
I also recieved to Amazon packages and an ulta package on Tuesday, and my Oxyshred came in the mail yesterday so that was fun, I always love receiving packages.
I'm sorry for not updating properly. I will have a better update for today's accomplishments.

can anyone recommend some content creators that focus on leveling up, developing healthy habits and discipline, healthy financial habits, developing a better mindset, or like content about glowing up in all aspects of life?
especially any financial content creators that share tips on budgeting, saving, investing, and healthy spending habits.
but I'll accept any content creators from any platform that post about any of the mentioned topics, I'd really appreciate it!!
I want to make 2024 a better year for myself then 2023 was, so am looking to consume positive, healthy, leveling up content!
YouTube, Tumblr, Reddit, Insta, TikTok, any content creators/subreddits on these platforms would be highly highly appreciated!
thank you lovelies π©·

Day 12 - 90 Day Challenge π
So, I'm going to be honest. Yesterday was a terribly rough day for me emotionally. I isolated myself in my room (my roommates had people over for a late Thanksgiving dinner), ordered way too much McDonald's (that I didn't even finish), and cried for a good 2 hours (me and my boyfriend were going through it). But, I figured it would still be a decent idea to post an update to my challenge and keep trying.
πββοΈ Physical Health
walked to work, walked home from work
walked over 10,000+ steps total
π§ Mental Health
nothing that I can remember
β€οΈ Emotional Health
cried, a lot, to release some pent up emotions
talked to my dad about how i was feeling (he always calls at the perfect time, he has a 6th sense for when I'm upset)
π Intellectual Health
again, nothing that I can remember. that just means I need to get on my grind later with that (6 page) assignment that's due today
π Adulting
showered after work
worked a 6 hour shift
deposited money into my bank account
recieved and put away some new gym clothes I got in the mail (so happy, everything I bought was so cute and just extremely perfect <3 amazon gym clothes for the win)
π₯° Self Love/Care
did my morning skincare
didn't force myself to do homework knowing how emotional I was
planned my workouts for this week (I'm going to start running again, but slowly building my way up because I am a bit on the heavy side so I don't want to overdo it and risk injury. I also still love lifting weights, which I'm going to keep doing 3 days a week <3)
It's rough dealing with life with mental illness, but I just remind myself that bad days don't make this a bad life. It's all about perspective for me. The more I look on the bright side, the longer I can stay in the light <3

Total of 17 credit hours
I'm studying Nutrition (major), Psychology (minor), Exercise Science (minor), and am going to add business Management (Small Business and Entrepreneurship) as a 2nd major for the next year!
I'm pretty much not graduating within 4 years as I'm adding things a little late plus I switched majors after freshman year. <3
what are some journal affirmations you recommend/receive?
Sorry for the late reply!
When it comes to affirmations, I like to search through tumblr for affirmations that match my feelings or desires, and I will write them on post-it notes and keel them within sight. I change them up depending on mood and current desires, but they always help me with my mindset!
But yeah, searching through tumlr blogs that post affirmations that match my needs is what I suggest, as it's what's worked best for me! <3
Iβm sure you get this question a lot, but what are your best tips to starting your own tumblr self care diary ? π
This is actually the first time I've ever got asked this! I can think of a few tips that I kept in mind when I created this blog.
Be authentic. For me, I use this as a safe space to be myself without fear of judgment. And I find it helps me to be honest and open and true to who I am, as it's even helped me to become more confident in my actual life!
Be mindful of your online presence. It depends on the level of anonymity you want, but i try to be mindful of making my identity known. it's the anonymous aspect that's helped me feel more comfortable being my true self.
Be comfortable. Only post content that you are comfortable with sharing and that makes you happy. I have no problem using aestheic pinterest photos, and keeping a theme because it makes me happy and I feel comfortable posting my life with limited details.
Have fun with it! For me, my blog is a form of self expression and I love the way I've curated the aesthetics of my blog to match my interests. I tend to dress a little edgier in person, and I'm an aspiring gym girly, but I love makeup and shopping and kpop and anime. I'm a very multifaceted person and I enjoy sharing those bits of myself online.
Remember this is for you. Don't feel bad for not getting as many likes or reboots or comments because this is for you. When I decided to start my blog as it is now, I had 7 followers. But I didn't care because this was something for me. And now I have over 1200 followers, and im so grateful for this community. This is a safe space I helped create for myself, and I'm just so happy I made the decision to start posting. I appreciate everyone who interacts with my content and who supports and encourages me. It always makes my day, but I never forget that this blog is an extension of myself.
I hope this was helpful! Good luck on your self care diary journey, I wish you the absolute best, and I hope you have the most fun and enjoyment with creating that space for yourself. <3
Day 11 - 90 Day Challenge π
Yesterday (11-25) was kind of productive? I ended up working a 5 hour shift at my job instead of the 8 hour one I was supposed to which by no means upset me because I still made money either way. I tried to get some stuff done beforehand but I honestly just took the morning for rest. I also go back to work this morning as well so I'm really happy to get back to routine.
πββοΈ Physical Health
took a 30+ minute walk around campus before I had to go to work
walked 9778 steps total
ate a really good salad with tomato, cucumber, romaine, shredded carrots, and balsamic vinegrette. (who knew balasamic vinegrette was so yummy!)
drank half a liter of essentia electrolyte water
stopped eating breakfast when I was comfortably satisfied and didn't push past my limits
ate 2 servings of fruit + 1 serving of almonds + 1 serving of cashews (so yummy, cashews and almonds for the win)
π§ Mental Health
nothing that I can remember at the moment
β€οΈ Emotional Health
some more retail therapy. bought myself some oversized t shirts online to use as gym shirts/everyday shirts. I may be plus size but I still love me an big comfy t shirt, especially to workout. I think I bought 11 or 12 shirts? cost me 90$ USD.
π Intellectual Health
does it count if I said I did a lot of budgeting for what I was buying?
because otherwise, nothing else
π Adulting
worked a 5 hour shift
phone call + zoom call with my boyfriend
took care of some laundry I had previously washed (still have more to take care of)
π₯° Self Love/Care
morning skincare
that's about it, but I think the walk helped my anxiety, and retail therapy always feels like self love because I used to feel guilty for buying myself stuff
Yesterday was a good day for sure. Today, my goals are to make it through my work shift, complete my reflection paper that's due tomorrow night, drink one liter of essentia electrolyte water, answer a journal prompt, and set myself up for tomorrow morning (I have a 730am class on Mon and Wed, so I gotta be up bright and early tomorrow!)
My Mondays are always so busy. Here's a little breakdown for those who are curious:
Wake up early, get ready, coffee, skincare, pack school bag, set out work stuff
Class at 730am to 845am
class from 9am to 1015am
quick snack at the dining hall at 1025am
review homework/tasks for the week
gym from 11am to 1215pm
walk home
shower, eat something proteiny, get ready for work
walk to work 130pm
work from 2pm to 10pm
get home, change/shower, zoom boyfriend
go to sleep by 11ish pm
I love Mondays tho, the routine always sets me up for the week!
Anywho, that's all for now!

can anyone recommend a good textbook for learning Spanish? I really like studying using textbooks and I have two from when I took Spanish classes but they are the most unhelpful textbooks ever and I absolutely despise using them unless I have no other choice.
preferably Iβd like a textbook that focuses on grammar as vocabulary is pretty easy for me to pick up given how widely Spanish is spoken in my city.
Iβm also open to any music, song, movie, book, tv show, and any other spanish language learning material! I want to be able to speak spanish with some of the people I work with and I think itβs a great and beautiful language for me to learn overall, and definitely will be the most helpful!
*I am still going to self study Japanese during my six week break from classes, but I am going to try to divide my time between spanish and Japanese with a stronger focus on spanish! May even start a six week language challenge during my break to keep me motivated and accountable!
so if you guys have any recommendations for someone learning spanish (and even Japanese) , please comment/reblog this!
thanks in advance <3
Day 10 - 90 Day Challenge π
I feel really good about today. I got a lot done despite trying to nap three times (I wasn't able to actually get any sleep), and the only reason I kept trying to nap was because I've been up since 3am. It's easy to get a lot done when you've been up forever.
πββοΈ Physical Health
took a walk around campus outside
logged most of everything I ate into my food tracking app
cooked a healthy breakfast + ate a serving of fruit (red grapes)
π§ Mental Health
morning guided journal
night time guided journal
retail therapy <3 (bought some makeup on the ulta app)
β€οΈ Emotional Health
read 2 sections of 101 Essays to Change the Way You Think
answered the journal prompt "what is one of my limiting self beliefs?"(realized I'm the reason I don't have many friends, need to change that)
π Intellectual Health
finished chapter 13 notes for psyc
completed all of chapter 14 notes for psyc
selected my articles for my reflection paper for my health and sport class + formatted Google docs for each article reflection writing
(This all took me 2.5 hours from 4am to 630am, the perks of accidentally waking up early as heck)
π Adulting
organized my desk drawer
reached out + invited my older brother to come see me since he was in town (he'll be here soon!)
had a phone call with my dad
π₯° Self Love/Care
morning skincare
night skincare (just moisturizer, I was tired)
took a warm shower + brushed my teeth (as gross as it sounds that I don't do it every day, depression sucks and I'm proud of myself for even one win )
made my bed (trying to make it a habit)
let in morning sunlight until it began to get dim outside (keeps electricity costs down and boosts my mood when I'm in my room)
I am very proud of myself for today despite my lack of motivation these last few days. Hopefully, this carries over to tomorrow, and I can be productive at least a little bit before i have to go to work. There's still time in the day, but I'm satisfied with today, which is why I'm posting this a bit early in the evening. Thank you and much love to everyone who has been commenting encouraging and supportive things it makes it easier to be open and honest about my struggles, mental health, and overall well-being.

Day 9 - 90 Day Challenge π
I really hope I'm on the right day because it seems like time has been going by slower since I've started this challenege? Maybe its just the way my silly little brain processes time. Or maybe I missed a few days and forgot. Who knows?
πββοΈ Physical Health
honestly, nothing. I over ate, didn't drink enough water, had way too much caffiene, forgot to take my meds, didnt leave my room much at all, and ate a bit unhealthy because i was so sad.
oh, but I did eat an apple and some red grapes as a snack! maybe that counts?
π§ Mental Health
again, nothing. it got so bad that I did have to take an anxiety med (I have some prescribed as needed for insomnia/high anxiety moments) and it calmed my brain down right away.
β€οΈ Emotional Health
had another talk with my boyfriend about how I've been feeling, this time in regards to our relationship.
watched a movie with my boyfriend over video call <3
bought a new set of sports bras online as a form of retail therapy + I need them
π Intellectual Health
also, nothing. it was a holiday, I didn't want to stress myself out with school work. that's gonna be for today.
π Adulting
cleaned my bathroom a little bit (finally). scrubbed and wiped down the toilet, disinfected the sink, faucet, and counter, and cleaned the mirror!
took out my bedroom trash and threw away old (moldy) plastic food containers that I forgot about for almost a week (so sad)
organized my never ending pile of tote bags and belts to make more space in my room
did a load of laundry and put away ALL of the clean clothes in my room (there were two very full baskets of clean clothes just waiting to be organized)
organized my desk
π₯° Self Love/Care
did my morning skincare
showered and washed my hair and put on clean, fresh clothes (in an effort to get out of my depressive slump)
tried to let in some natural sunlight (it was a gloomy, cloudy day but I tried)
My only *smallish goals for today is to drink an entire bottle of my electrolyte water (1 liter) + 3 more smaller bottles of water, finish my current psyc notes, a quiz, and maybe a writing assignment that's due on Monday, maybe study for my psyc final and work on the final paper, eat a bit healthier today, and try to get outside for maybe a little bit. and remember to take my meds.
I don't like feeling so down. but I know when I feel restricted or trapped or super introverted, that's when I start self sabotaging. I choose to stay inside because my brain gives me anxiety fueled excuses about why I shouldn't go outside. But that makes the depression worse. I try to compensate by over eating to get those dopamine hits, but that makes me feel bad and fuels the depression.
I just need to work on building sustainable, healthier, easy to execute habits for when I get like this. it'll be the best thing I can do for myself. and it'll make my life a whole lot easier.
that's my little mini rant for the day. if anyone has any tips for building healthy habits to work with their depression, I'd love to hear them.
