I remember a post about Spiderman being an honorary magical girl and I have a own little additional opinion:
Ben 10 and Danny Phantom should also be honorary magical girls
Reasons:
- They have transformation scenes
- They are teenagers (like the ones I'm familiar with)
- They have/had a weekly villain format of episodes
- They got dark at certain points (I'm not sure about most magical animes but I know that Madoka is definitely dark)
- Why not?
As the person who sent that, I am willing to find Roland and murder him for taking away Jae-Heon's attempt at bringing back his son 😌

A family doesn’t need to be a man, woman, and child. Families come in all shapes and sizes! Sometimes a family is Teddy Roosevelt (president of the United States), Sacajawea (Lemhi-Shoshone guide of the Lewis and Clark expedition), Octavius ( miniature Roman general), Jedidiah (miniature cowboy), Attila (you know, Attila the Hun), Ahkmenrah (fourth king of the fourth kings), Dexter (a monkey), Nicky (aspiring dj), and Larry (Middle aged guy who probably should have looked for a different job) !!
Why doesn't Ahkmenrah have Egyptian makeup??? Why is there not a single pharaoh with makeup in the NATM??????
I'm sure this has already been said, but we need a proper prestige TV adaptation of Moby-Dick. For 10 minutes out of every episode, it becomes a nature documentary about whales.

my fave greek history story to tell is that of agnodice. like she noticed that women were dying a lot during childbirth so she went to egypt to study medicine in alexandria and was really fucking good but b/c it was illegal for women to be doctors in athens she had to pretend to be a man. and then the other doctors noticed that she was 10x better than them and accused her of seducing and sleeping with the women patients. like they brought her to court for this. and she just looked at them and these charges and stripped in front of everyone like “yeah. im not fucking your wives” and then they got so mad that a woman was better at their jobs then them that they tried to execute her but all her patients came to court and were like “are you fucking serious? she is the reason you have living children and a wife.” so they were shamed into changing the law and that is how women were given the right to practice medicine in athens
On my casual scrolling on Pinterest I came across adorable (yet reposted) art of Pomni & Gummigoo in place of Husk & Angel Dust in this position:
And lots of the comments, while many of them praising the art, also criticized the poster over "shipping" Pomni & Gummigoo even though it was just one episode/overall 2 episodes/they ship Pomni with someone else.
While I understand the shipping scene in TADCs fandom can be a tad overwhelming & hectic, I think people are forgetting a few things:
While Husk x Angel Dust is a fan favorite ship, it is yet to be canon. The song "Loser, Baby" was not preformed by the characters when in a relationship.
The song "Loser, Baby" is not a romantic song, necessarily. The song's main purpose was to make Angel Dust feel less alone.
"Loser, Baby" can actually fit Pomni & Gummigoo's situations really well. Just like Husk & Angel Dust:
they appeared in a place they cannot leave or change on a fundamental level (Hell || The Circus, Candy Canyon Kingdom).
They felt alone & alienated once they realized the gravity of their circumference (Angel & Husk with their deal || Pomni with being a video game character, Gummigoo with being an NPC).
They felt like nobody else could understand their situation (Angel Dust/Husk & crew, Pomni with Ragatha & crew, Gummigoo & Lads).
They are bound to the whims of a being more powerful than them (Overlords || Caine).
While Husk x Angel Dust is a very popular ship, their first song together in Hazbin Hotel's season 1 episode 4 can be interpreted & used in a non-romantical way successfully & in a believable way.
Essentially, the point of the post is: don't throw shade on people for having fun with entertainment as long as it doesn't actively cause any harm.
