The moving international sensation about new beginnings…

For nearly a year, I found myself ensnared in an unforgiving reading slump, each attempt to engage with a book met with disinterest and fatigue.

Then, as if by fate, Days at the Morisaki bookshop caught my attention, compelling me to give it a chance. That decision, was nothing less than a stroke of fortune.

This book was a balm to my weary soul, offering a serene and deeply comforting experience, particularly given the tumultuous state of my mind at present. It provided the perfect escape from reality. Now, with renewed enthusiasm, I eagerly anticipate diving into the sequel.

They are so different, yet I‘ve loved them both. One irascible like a wildfire, the other as calm as falling snowflakes. With one I felt like I could conquer the world, nothing would stop us and still I’ve fallen for a man with whom we would build up a peaceful new world ourselves. Arguments or silence, angry tears or sad ones? “I love you”, they both said but were showing it completely different. Soothing and sweet or loud yet effective? Rebellious or settled? Fire or Ice? Ice or Fire? I don’t see it.

They are so different, yet I’ve loved them both. But one I can say: neither of them loved me right.

Hi all! I figured I should share this playlist I made while I was in my final weeks of classes (aka the hell that is finals)! 

This is just a playlist of some slower, emotional, or soothing tracks for studying, relaxing, or whatever you want to do (I recommend baking!).

Note: This is super kpop heavy, but because I can’t really understand every single word, it helped my tune out the outside world and focus on my work. I wrote a whole lot of essays to this playlist. 

For my fellow Shawols: Hi friends, we’ve been through a lot lately, huh? Jjongie’s music appears on this playlist and I wanted make sure to give you a heads up, just in case you aren’t super comfortable listening yet (and that’s okay).

Even if you aren’t studying, I hope this playlist can give you all some peace of mind and some comfort too.
