⟅28.07.2024 — eu sei que parece que esse pensamento é muito adiantado PORÉM eu tenho algo a dizer: eu fiz muita capa fofa e LINDA ESSE MÊS (!)¹ isso não é meu normal, se você é meu amigo, ta na hora de você vir me perguntar se ta tudo bem (!)² essa capa foi minha segunda favorita de fazer esse mês, estou praticando colocar mais pngs e implementar mais detalhes, talvez isso esteja dando resultado e eu estou muy happy happy happy :) bom, eu já queria fazer uma capa de bsd porém não tinha ideia do que seria a capa e isso acabou me deixando inseguro com que tema abordar com o fandom CONTUDO, acabei achando um possível spoiler e eu fiquei tão :') que decidi que iria capar com o que eu achei desse spoiler em específico. its just like a little cat he can't resist to pick him up and carry him around-
He would team up with himself, just because the president ordered him too one day and that just became a normal thing

holy hell will this man make you help him with his pranks on poor kunikida-
like for real, this dude will grab u by the waist, look at you with the brightest puppy eyes and you can't help but to cave in.
He finds it so interesting you have the exact same traits as a real ghost, and for a ghost, you are the prettiest person he has ever seen.
He sometimes beg you to scare people by going through the wall and exit like you never existed (You also love to scare people its honestly very funny-
When you do it to him though, He'll dramatically scream like a little girl, making you embarrassed and him very amused (Cocky bastard-)
He does, however, when you two are alone in his apartment, Looking at you all admired as he hears all kinds of stories of people you meet.
If he told you about his past, He will slowly but surely give hints to let you know that he wants to know about Odasaku
You always smile gently while talking about Odasaku and what he told you to pass onto Dazai.
He will be very grateful to you if you ever did that.
Chuuya Nakahara:
Just like Dazai, He will be very interested into seeing you suddenly float around the mafia headquarters and see your ghostly powers in action
You tried scaring him once, did not end to well Poor boy legit broke his favourite wine glass, You had to fly away if you didn't wanna be a ghost twice-
He gently strokes your hair, even if it goes straight through, he really doesn't care at this point
Your ghost kisses always makes him chuckle
He does however, wonder about his friends, if you could see them too. He's to stubborn to ask though, but at some point, you figure it out and leave little things behind for him to find, Giving it as a signal that they are always with him and supporting his every decision
He always smile softly seeing those messages, making a mental note to Thank you for your hard work
Atsushi Nakajima:
This boy finds it so sad-
He loves you very much, but he just gets sad thinking you died cause of some stupid asshole or accident that caused your death.
He does however, always try to make you the happiest you've ever been when you were alive
You do help him out with missions, He doesn't get worried about you getting hurt since everything can go through you, so you always go first, Looking around the area if he's not in danger by any sort of threats.
At home you guys always talk about whatever you want to talk about, It sometimes leads to Atsushi Falling asleep while you gently tucks him in.
This boy has a whole lot of love in store for you
Akutagawa Ryunosuke:
Honestly, would be slightly surprised you would date him, and more surprised you would stick to him even when your dead
Little cold in the beginning, doesn't trust you too much. but slowly he warms up to you, trusting you a little bit more in life
But he definitely hates you when you scare him
His ability would've killed you by now if you weren't a ghost-
Besides that, he would ask you to check on anything that isn't suppose to happen, and you happily obey
Besides his cold Façade, you saw his sadness about you being dead, but luckily for both of you guys, You always had each other
He loves you, in his own stubborn way.

pm!dazai didn't abuse akutagawa. he reacted proportionately to the threat akutagawa posed to himself.
when dazai smacks akutagawa around in canon, they're running drills. dazai is not hitting him in misdirected anger or because he is venting his own suffering on him. akutagawa does not instinctually protect himself. in his fits of hyperviolence, he seeks to kill and be killed, and nearly is in beast, and in the course of his initial pursuit of atsushi.
he does not have the reflex or will or instinct to defend himself, and he is slow because he is having to consciously process the effort. his automatic reflex is to attack, but that will not stop him from being shot or overwhelmed or blindsided.
what they are doing in those scenes, what dazai is uniquely able to practice with him since rashomon can't pierce him, is not unlike cognitive behavioral therapy interventions. akutagawa is wired such that when he is triggered, he develops tunnel vision, pressing forward relentlessly without registering danger or responding to negative stimuli. this is a pattern developed from when he deemed dearh inevitable, and one which is liable to get him killed regardless of whether he has a reason to live.
he needs to consciously retrain his instinctual response, and he has to consciously and consistently reinforce it against his existing, much quicker instinct. he has to do it before he has the conviction or will to do it. and he has to do it over and over again, even when it isn't immediately life or death, because the instinct is self reinforcing, and the pattern he is trying to supplant it with is not yet.
skills are part of their users' framework for responding to their environment. jun'ichiro is anxious, but he can hide within light snow. kunikida has his notebook, but it has rigid limitations that he adapts to, similarly to how he works within the limitations of reality to keep from becoming consumed by his ideals.
akutagawa's skill, meanwhile, is wildly fucking disproportionate to akutagawa's constitution which is a problem when akutagawa wont react defensively. akutagawa is canonically frail, chronically ill, thin, and short (he's 5'8", but asagiri insists he's itty bitty every time he describes him in prose). rashomon, meanwhile, is monstrously powerful and hungry. it lends a false sense of untouchable violence when akutagawa himself is weak, and also is just really difficult to focus and control such that using it brings akutagawa into coughing fits. rashomon is also terrifying even in visage; it invites others to react with violence proportionate to their terror against the spectre of rashomon — but akutagawa is small, sick, and human; what is proportionate to rashomon is IMMENSE overkill if aimed at akutagawa. which is especially egregious because akutagawa will let them.
in other words, when dazai meets akutagawa, rashomon is as dangerous to its user as to anyone else. skills should not get their users killed. dazai is right. it's a shit skill.
akutagawa is vulnerable and self-destructive, and he and dazai are working to rewire his instinctual evaluation of his stakes. even when dazai punches akutagawa after akutagawa kills the mimic soldier, it's not a random act of violence or unregulated anger. the mimic soldier was not going to lead them to gide, there was no reality where they restrained him before he bit his cyanide, and he'd attacked dazai. but instead of reacting defensively at the opportunity, akutagawa fell to the former instinct, leaving himself wide open.
dazai reacts how he does because:
they are supplanting an ingrained instinct that is self reinforcing, the correction needs to be consistent to change the pattern and the former instinct needs to be discouraged with the same severity as the threat it poses;
by punching akutagawa first, dazai gave him notice and time to consciously muster the defense reaction theyre working on;
akutagawa needs to build an association between the defensive reaction and the triggering stimulus for this to work;
the context in which this happens is the exact sort of threat that rashomon is then ill equipped to handle— gide can see into the future, like oda, and mimic are military trained gunmen.
when dazai tells akutagawa that he couldn't ever defeat oda, he's not taunting him, he's right. akutagawa is relying on swift killing blows, but against someone who can see into the future, akutagawa is as vulnerable as a baby. and then, shortly after, that's what happens: gide wrecks his shit and is about to murder him dead when oda swoops in to grab dazai's dumb horrible baby kouhai who's trying to kill himself with the ambitious gusto of a horse.
as long as akutagawa fails to seek self-preservation, he is remarkably vulnerable. he's weak, and he's going to get himself killed. dazai doesn't coddle him about it for the same reason fukuzawa slaps ranpo for scampering into a police car with a murderer. you dont get praise for self endangerment.
dazai is not going to affirm a version of akutagawa that is trying to kill the boy dazai promised to save.

(also, this explains why akutagawa hates taking baths and being without his coat. dazai tried to instill in akutagawa the vigilance to register danger. in his absence, akutagawa strove to be worthy of demanding his approval by diligently practicing. but he's dazai's dumb baby kouhai who. takes things too far lmao.)

:+: Crochet Akutagawa :+:
After a full day of crocheting (which is waaay less time then I expected) I have completed my own version of a crochet Akutagawa.
I made him from cotton, which is my usual yarn medium. I used a basic doll base and tweaked it to my preference, then made him his frilled undershirt, coat and cravat.
I must say, the hair was the hardest part of this project and I’m still not completely happy with the outcome. By the way, there’s no wire at all! He doesn’t free stand, unfortunately, but I love how the ties of his coat stick up! (And ofc I crocheted a little Rashomon as well.)

Btw, plz don’t just pick the Friesian because they’re black. A black horse would probably suit Aku better, but just remember that other breeds can also be black lol

Having that one person (your “Dazai”) in your life you’re super attached to, that always seems to hurt you.
you want nothing more than their love, approval and affection, only for them to seem, time and time again, to choose others over you, make you feel left out or abandoned. Often, it feels like you have a love-hate relationship with them. (Bonus points if the Dazai has terrible communication skills). You’ve been hurt by them so many times, but you still always manage to forgive them and stay attached to them. 2. You hate being seen as pitiful, weak or different by others
Which is why you are only vulnerable with people you really really trust.
3. You hate the people the Dazai in your life chooses over you
You’re always left wondering, what is it that they have that you don’t? Are you just too boring to be around? You try your best to keep up, to improve yourself, change yourself in ways to appeal to that special person. But it never seems to be enough.
4. Abandonment issues
You are terrified of being left by people, especially that special person. Whenever people let you down, you feel like it’d be safer to isolate yourself from everyone. At least then, you wouldn’t be hurt.
